Last week, district leaders from across Ohio gathered in Columbus for SOAR Ohio’s first deep dive, launching a year-long effort to activate the Public Education Promise—beginning with P1: Prioritize Student-Centered Learning. Co-led by Ohio superintendents Patrick Ward and Kadee Anstadt, the session created space for meaningful reflection, cross-district collaboration, and shared learning focused on designing experiences where every student can thrive. SOAR Ohio is a new partnership between AASA and BASA, bringing national perspective together with local leadership to help districts move from vision to sustained impact. #PublicEducationPromise #StudentCenteredLearning
