Celebrating the power of love, resilience, and hope! 💜 Today, seven children in Adams County were welcomed into five families on #NationalAdoptionDay. National Adoption Day exists to draw special attention to the more than 100,000 U.S. children in foster care waiting for permanent and loving families. Since 2000, this annual, one-day event has celebrated more than 90,000 adoptions. This year, we expect 55 adoptions to be finalized in Adams County with each one being a story of hope and new beginnings. Read more: https://lnkd.in/g_tQZdfV

Yesterday in public hearing, our Adams County Board of Commissioners recognized November as National Native American Heritage Month. Adams County has a rich history of Indigenous people and the Indigenous lands. Join us as we honor vibrant cultures and ongoing contributions of Native Americans this month and every month.
