In an industry that’s always go-go-go, it’s nice to have those moments that remind you why you love what you do. Last month, New York City Tourism + Conventions invited Access to partner on their pre-IMEX FAM and what an incredible day we had! Getting to spend time with meeting and event pros from around the world, show off this amazing city and do it alongside two of my favorite people – Martha Palacios and Matias Casin Silva – was such a treat. If you know me, you know mornings aren’t really my thing (and Saturday mornings definitely aren’t 😅), but any chance I get to share the city I love with great people is one I’ll always take. Last week, I had the honor of representing Accor at the Financial & Insurance Conference Professionals (FICP) Annual Conference in Washington DC. The event was truly exceptional, with over 20 Accor hotels, including Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Raffles Hotels & Resorts, SLS Hotels, and FAENA, coming together. The conference offered outstanding education sessions and events, making it a memorable experience. It was a fantastic opportunity to network, reconnect with familiar faces, and forge new connections. One of the highlights for me was serving as a "First Timer Ambassador," where I could contribute to and support newcomers in our industry. Prior to the conference, I had the pleasure of hosting clients at the Sofitel Washington DC Lafayette Square & Fairmont Washington, D.C. alongside Jason Cohen and Isabel Mahon CITP. A special shout out goes out to our DMC partner Sterena Strickland and the Access team for their collaboration. Excited for this experience today with Access !

Team Access wrapping up a 12-day program that brought together 3,500+ attendees, two off-property events, countless arrivals and departures, nonstop activities and more twists and turns than we could’ve imagined…but we did it!! 🙌🏻 One of the biggest moments? We pulled off a full rain-backup dinner for 2,000 attendees in under 24 hours. What felt impossible became one of the highlights of the entire program!! And seeing everyone happy made every challenge worth it. I’m incredibly proud of our team, our partners, and every single person who brought creativity, grit, and calm under pressure. This program kept us on our toes from start to finish, and we delivered an experience to remember. Every career has a moment where you realize you’re not just doing the work, you’re becoming who you’re meant to be. Sharing this video reminded me of the early risks, the mentors who pushed me forward, and the moments where I chose growth over comfort. My story isn’t perfect, but it’s real. It’s built on creativity, connection, and the belief that leadership means lifting others with you. If I’ve learned anything, it’s this: you don’t need the full map to start. You just need the courage to take the next step. Grateful for everyone who’s been part of my journey so far and excited for what’s ahead. Here’s to imagining boldly, collaborating deeply, and telling stories that matter.
