He is passionate about helping advertisers and their partners navigate complex legal landscapes by translating intricate legal concepts into clear, actionable strategies. Andrew’s expertise bridges the gap between technological requirements and legal compliance, empowering teams to innovate and grow.
Prior to IAB, Andrew was privacy counsel to Albertsons retail media network and product teams, held his own law firm, and served in numerous staff augmentation role including acting as global head of privacy and deputy privacy officer. He enjoys running, having a good laugh with friends and family, focusing on his golf swing, and serving his community through local outreach.
Jacob Feder is a Senior Associate at Fieldfisher in Germany, where he has been contributing his expertise since 2019. Specializing in advising clients with digital business models, Jacob focuses on German and EU law, in particular privacy regulation, unfair trade practices regulation and technology regulation. His work encompasses both strategic advice and litigation, often defending clients’ business models. His clients include cloud service providers, household-brand social networks and review platforms, some of the world’s leading ad tech businesses and IT service providers. Jacob is fluent in German and English, holds a degree from the Bucerius Law School, and has international experience from his time at the University of Auckland
Achim is a member of the executive board at the European netID Foundation. As CTO he is responsible for the products (netID) around Single Sign-on and Consent Management / Addressability and drives their strategic development. He is an expert in privacy technology related matters as well as their real life implementation at scale.
Achim graduated at RWTH Aachen as a computer scientist, following that he worked a longer timeframe at big European cooperation’s, always focusing on data driven topics with increasing level of leadership. Prior his current role he worked as a senior manager at KPMG where he played a major role in building up the business around data-driven technologies – namely the national and global setup and operation of the KPMG Lighthouse, Center of Excellence for data driven technologies. Before joining KPMG he worked at ParStream (part of the Cisco IoT division today) – a Cupertino based Big Data Startup – leading both product development as well as the global consulting/technical sales teams.
Stephan is a partner at Fieldfisher in Hamburg with 12 years’ experience in technology law. Stephan advises clients from across the globe in privacy regulation, media regulation, unfair trade practices regulation and technology law matters, with a particular focus on the adtech industry and AI regulation. His clients include cloud service providers, household-brand social networks and review platforms, some of the world’s leading ad tech businesses and specialist software providers for regulated industries. He regularly represents his clients in courts, including the European Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights.
