No PHP manual download in CHM format?

Describe the bug

For me there is a download table visible for Single HTML file and Many HTML files, but NOT for *.chm files.

Tested on Chromium and Firefox on Linux.

Steps to reproduce

1. Visit the given URL
2. Look at the table
3. No column for CHM downloads

Expected behavior

I expected to see CHM downloads

This is a known issue. The CHM format manual was being manually built and has no automatic build system. Additionally it relies on software that is no longer officially available - see this issue for my adventures in trying to get it to build recently.

You may be interested to learn that the multipage HTML format now includes a basic search feature, the same as the php.net documentation.

Other than the above mentioned search capability, is there a specific reason you want the manual in CHM format?

in my case it makes my life easier. I can use the multipage, but there are no search option there. and the single page never fully open, at least in Firefox. so the basic search.. haven't seen it yet. chrome for me it's only for testing so nothing open by default there
