This week, our Global Head of Data Privacy and AI Governance, Alice Tickle joined a conversation about the evolving intersection of privacy, technology, and AI. Speaking at the Legal Next Conference, hosted by TransPerfect Legal, Alice shared practical advice on handling data subject access requests (DSARs) with confidence and explored why AI governance is becoming an essential part of the role of privacy professionals. One key takeaway is that while AI can help identify and classify data, it can’t replace human judgment when it comes to understanding context. As Alice reflected: “AI hasn’t changed the definition of privacy but has increased its significance because of the relationship between technology and data. The pace of technological change means collaboration between legal and tech teams has never been more critical.”

It was great to be up in Stockport this week, where we had the opportunity to meet our portfolio colleagues and experience Indurent's impressive range of industrial and logistics assets at Trafford Park first hand. We also learnt more about Indurent's market-leading 'Hive' operating platform, and how data and technology is being integrated across all areas of the business to deliver a seamless, customer-first experience. Thank you to Tom Olsen, Isobel Turner and the Indurent team for organising - we look forward to seeing you all again soon.

It was great to host our global leadership team and colleagues at our London offices last week. It was fantastic to have Matt DeMonte, Diana Hoffmann, Jean-Francois Bossy, Brett Kauffman and Allen Wong Yu in town for a valuable few days of collaboration, and to see team members from our global Technology, People & Culture and Finance teams. Thanks to everyone who helped make it such a productive and memorable visit. As always, the support and perspective of our global colleagues continues to shape our approach and we look forward to the next gathering.

It was great to welcome Gus Burton from MYNDUP to our London office this week for a conversation about mental wellbeing and how tools like coaching, counselling and therapy can support people in their day-to-day working lives. At Revantage UK, supporting mental health is an essential part of how we work. One in seven of our team is now trained in mental health first aid, and all colleagues have access to confidential, one-to-one support through MyndUp whenever it’s needed.
