PX3 is pleased to announce that its portfolio company Com Laude is acquiring Markmonitor, a U.S.-based provider of corporate domain management and associated security services for large companies, in a corporate carve-out. This marks Com Laude’s second add-on acquisition and the second in the U.S.. This transformative combination will create a leading global supplier of corporate domain management services, with a combined enterprise value of ca. $450 million. It will allow Com Laude to quadruple its revenue and is expected to complete in late 2025. The combined company will benefit from highly complementary service offerings as well as Com Laude’s strong presence in Europe and Markmonitor’s strong presence in the U.S., further enhancing its ability to deliver mission-critical internet domain name services to many of the world’s foremost branded companies. Upon completion, the combined company will move its headquarters to Boise, Idaho, U.S.. This strategic industrial combination draws on PX3’s experience in engineering bespoke transactions, including executing corporate carve-outs and transformative M&A and managing transatlantic situations. PX3 will continue to work closely with Com Laude’s management to help Com Laude enhance its position as a leading provider of internet domain management and associated security services and online brand protection.
