Here's 3 tips to get the max from the workplace's most optimistic generation (Gen Z): --> Be bold and brave. This generation realise AI will have an impact on entry level roles. But, having grown up with tech, they feel the most control over how it will affect their work. What they need is clarity about how the workforce will adapt. --> Turn motivation into productivity by creating opportunities to develop skills and gain rewards --> Let them get to grips with AI and use it daily. Those who do report higher increases in productivity (93% vs 62%), job security (69% vs 36%) and salaries (64% vs 32%) For more insights on how your workforce - current and future - feels, watch this discussion from our Workforce leaders Sarah Moore Peter Brown MBE Alastair Woods Prasun Shah and Miral Mir. We've done the research so you can take the findings and put them to work. https://lnkd.in/eQwwW7KJ

The launch this week of our annual Hopes and Fears report shines a spotlight on the UK workforce’s views on AI, jobs and change. And there’s a huge opportunity for leaders who can chart a bold path forward to make the most of both talent and tech. Workers are more engaged and upbeat than you may think – but perception gaps are emerging around AI, job security and future direction. The winners will be those who can move first to define a workforce structure that harnesses their people’s motivation and converts that into onward momentum and future success. Join me here on Tuesday as I explore these themes, what they mean for business leaders and discuss how to a workforce strategy that delivers for our modern workforce ⬇️ --> How are different generations responding to AI?  --> How can you attract – and keep - a talented workforce?  --> How can you inspire through uncertainty and recalibrate on your North Star? I’ll be joined by Peter Brown MBE, Alastair Woods, Prasun Shah and Miral Mir – we look forward to seeing you there!

Last week, we were thrilled to headline the Women of the Future Programme Awards, and are incredibly proud to recognise the achievements of our three finalists.    A huge congratulations to Chloe Jordan who took home the award for the Professions category and added: "I'm truly honoured to have won the Professions awards. A heartfelt thank you to the Women of the Future programme for fostering such an inspiring community.”    Our Chief People Officer, Phillippa O’Connor, presented the Young Star Award alongside Julia Gillard on the night. Congratulations to Florence Sargent, the winner of the Young Star Award for 2025.    Thank you to everyone who took part, supported, and celebrated this amazing journey of empowering young female leaders. Here’s to continuing to create opportunities and champion the women of tomorrow, today.

What an incredible evening! ✨   Last night I had the absolute pleasure of attending the Women of the Future Awards. When Pinky Lilani CBE DL founded them back in 2006, she created something truly transformative - a platform that doesn't just celebrate achievement, but actively builds the future.   I couldn't be more proud that PwC UK is the headline sponsor for the awards, because initiatives like these are where real change begins.   We're also incredibly proud of the outstanding PwC nominees we had in attendance: 🌟 Francesca Wilkinson - shortlisted in the AI Category 🌟 Chloe Jordan - shortlisted in the Professions Category 🌟 Khayala Eylazova - shortlisted in the Mentor Category   …and I'm thrilled to share that Chloe won the Professions Category award! 🎉   Looking around the room last night, I was reminded: we're not here to honour what has been. We're here to celebrate what will be. These awards identify exceptional young women at critical moments in their careers and give them the visibility, validation, and network that will drive them to the next level.   To Chloe, Francesca, Khayala and all of last night's winners and nominees - you're not just shaping your own future, you're shaping our future.   What a wonderful evening celebrating these remarkable women. If last night is anything to go by, that future is extraordinarily bright.

Our commentary on today's ONS retail sales figures highlights the nuanced challenges facing the UK retail sector: • Monthly retail sales declined 0.7% in October, with particular pressure on non-food retailers • Clothing retailers and department stores experienced the steepest falls • Consumer behaviour reflects strategic spending choices rather than blanket reductions   What retailers should focus on this Golden Quarter: ✓ Strengthen value propositions across all channels ✓ Invest in digital capabilities to meet evolving customer expectations   ✓ Prepare strategically for the critical festive trading period ✓ Use data analytics to understand shifting consumer segments   The retail landscape is transforming rapidly. Success will come to those organisations that can adapt their strategies to meet changing consumer needs whilst maintaining operational excellence.
