Such is the interconnectivity of the internet and online platforms, that beyond simply advertising a vacancy in the hope that applicants will find it, employers and recruiting firms can now actively source candidates using state of the art AI technologies, and engage with jobseekers in a meaningful way. https://lnkd.in/e3N6t2zq This award recognises the outstanding inventiveness and innovation of these technologies. Our winner in 2025 is VONQ.

Whilst the NORAs primarily identifies websites and services which are directly visible to jobseekers, in this category we also consider those which also benefit candidates from behind the scenes. https://lnkd.in/e_GRF-96 Our deserving winner in 2025 was LinkedIn Hiring Assistant.

Until now, The NORAs has only ever presented awards to organisations, and not to individuals. After 25 years however, we thought it was time to break with tradition, and recognise the career and achievements of a particular individual. This person has made seismic changes to the way people all over the world find work, and specifically in the UK. https://lnkd.in/eQnTNEnp This is not a lifetime achievement award, but a recognition of what has been achieved so far, with no doubt much more to come. There will be no finalists for this award, which is made at our Chairman’s discretion, and in consultation with our judges. The inductee for our inaugural NORA Fellowship Award is Lee Biggins, CEO & Founder of CV-Library.

In recognition of the fast-evolving nature of the technology, our award for Best Employment Advice has now been renamed at Best Candidate-Centric Platform. https://lnkd.in/eKMR4t5n This recognises the advanced technologies which are now put in the hands of jobseekers themselves, giving far more control and personalisation of the jobseeking process: enabling not only research, searching, and career mapping tools, but helping all the way through their career moves. In 2025, our award goes to ERIC. Huge congratulations to Mae Yip and the team!

This is a new award, designed to recognise those technologies at the very heart of all hiring operations – the Applicant Tracking Systems, and Candidate Relationship Management platforms. https://lnkd.in/eX6YkqTY Whilst similar in many regards, an ATS is designed for TA departments with employers, whereas a CRM is primarily used by staffing agencies. We may well separate these as distinct awards next year. Our technology awards categories are specifically focussed on the recruitment technology that candidates don’t see, but still benefit from. As our official awards partner SmartRecruiters would also be in this category, we must commend them for recusing themselves from this award. Our 2025 winner is Greenhouse Software.
