In a world full of shortcuts, integrity is what keeps us grounded. It’s the quiet decision to do the right thing when no one’s watching. It’s owning setbacks and choosing transparency over convenience. In the pharmaceutical industry, we carry a vital responsibility: to provide access to medicines that improve patient outcomes. Integrity is at the heart of this. This week we celebrated our annual Spotlight on Integrity Week. Colleagues across the globe came together to focus on key topics linked to integrity, including speaking up and ethical decision making. We also held live events at our Cambridge HQ, London and China offices, with colleagues able to stop by, meet our Compliance colleagues and take part in a lunch and learn session. “Acting with integrity is about enabling the right decisions at the right time, so together we remain United for Patients. I’m incredibly proud of this week’s efforts and have really welcomed hearing from our colleagues across the organisation about integrity in action, how integrity guides their decision making and the unwavering emphasis on doing the right thing for patients at all times.” James Swift, SVP Compliance and Internal Audit #UnitedforPatients

CEO Marc Princen visited our Cambridge HQ last week, where he spent time with colleagues involved in our Continuous Improvement (CI) programme in a session that truly highlighted the power of innovation, collaboration and growth mindset at Mundipharma. From strategic frameworks to Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt presentations, the showcase reflected the incredible work happening in Cambridge to drive efficiency, quality and cost reduction. Highlights included projects focusing on employee development, business alignment and cultural change as well as strategic projects aligned with our ambitious site objectives. It was a pleasure to see Marc, alongside our Vice President of Quality Aileen Fisher and Chief Technical Operations Officer Ajay Varshney taking the time to recognise the achievements of our CI champions and thank them for their dedication in embracing growth mindset. “This was a powerful reminder of the incredible talent, dedication and innovation that exists across our organisation," said Marc. "I was very excited when I heard about this work, it is really impressive. This attitude of continuous improvement, coupled with our Growth Mindset approach, demonstrates our entire company coming together in a unique and nimble way, which keeps our mission of United for Patients at the forefront of all that we do.” #GrowthMindset #OperationalExcellence

We are celebrating another well-deserved promotion at Mundipharma with the recent appointment of Sarah H. to Chief People Officer. Sarah also becomes a member of our Executive Committee. Since joining Mundipharma five years ago, Sarah’s career has gone from strength to strength. After starting in Procurement, Sarah joined CEO Marc Princen’s team as Management Associate, quickly rising to Chief of Staff. Last week marked the US CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) Fungal Disease Awareness Week. Mundipharma is proud to provide patient support group MyCARE (Mycology Advocacy, Research & Education) a grant to support Fungal Disease Awareness Week. This will help to raise awareness of fungal disease through initiatives such as a new YouTube Channel and an advocacy toolkit for patient engagement, with the aim of reaching the thousands of people impacted by fungal conditions across the world. Fungal infections are increasing globally; more than one billion people get a fungal infection each year1. Increasing awareness of fungal diseases will support early diagnosis and treatment for patients who may benefit from the important medicines available. MyCARE is dedicated to improving outcomes for patients globally with serious or invasive fungal infections, aligning with our mission to improve patient care and put patients at the heart of all that we do. https://fightfungus.org/ Reference: About Fungal Diseases | Fungal Diseases | CDC

Last week, I had the privilege of speaking at the Operational Excellence & Business Improvement Conference in London. It was an incredible opportunity to exchange ideas with peers from across the industry, explore the latest trends in operational excellence, and bring back valuable insights for the work we’re doing at Mundipharma. I’m proud to see how our company is embracing operational excellence — turning it into a driver for growth, efficiency, and innovation. Events like these remind me how powerful it is to share knowledge and learn from others who are equally passionate about continuous improvement. Looking forward to applying what I learned and keeping the conversation going with this amazing community! #OperationalExcellence #ContinuousImprovement #Collaboration #UnitedforPatients

Last Friday marked the start of South Asian Heritage Month – a dedicated month which commemorates the culture, history and communities of South Asia. Throughout the month our colleagues will be sharing their own stories in line with the 2025 theme of ‘Roots to Routes’. Here we are proud to share the story of UK Commercial Operations Director, Neelam Katechia, who last year celebrated 20 years with Mundipharma. “As a proud British Gujarati woman, my family’s journey from India and Kenya to the UK is a story of courage, sacrifice and hope. Our traditions - from our language, rituals and numerous celebrations have been lovingly passed down, shaping who I am and grounding me in a rich heritage.” The ‘Roots to Routes’ theme resonates deeply with me. Our roots keep us connected to where we come from, while our routes from their migrations and new beginnings have shaped my identity and sense of belonging here in the UK. I’m proud of the family legacy I carry as well the generational stories and experiences. Our stories, voices and contribution matter. They enrich not just our lives, but the fabric of this country. I am blessed to have been exposed to all of the cultures which have shaped who I am today.” Read on to learn more about Neelam’s story of growth and development at Mundipharma. #MundipharmaPeople #SAHM2025
