About us
We’re transforming financial wellbeing in the UK. We’re here to ensure every person feels more in control of their finances throughout their lives, from pocket money to pensions. Why? Because when they are, communities are healthier, businesses are more prosperous, the economy benefits and individuals feel better off. There are many organisations in our nations which can make a real difference. Our role is to connect them to a shared purpose: achieving the UK’s five national goals for financial wellbeing. We lead the way with our own services, which reflect how much we care about the people we serve. They demonstrate what works best in a way that's targeted to those most in need and inclusive of people from all backgrounds. Working together we can really impact the lives of our customers. And we won’t stand still. We support innovation internally and externally so that everyone's using the best ways out there to help people feel more in control of their money. We will work to make sure the whole of the UK understands that financial, physical and mental health are all deeply connected. Our ambition is that everyone sees financial wellbeing as a national mission and a core UK value.

We are delighted to announce our new strategic partnership with Nest Insight. This builds on several years of successful collaboration, and we're excited to take our joint work to the next level. Together, we'll make sure that our free and impartial guidance can reach people who need it most – supporting our vision of creating better financial futures for everyone in need. This is an important time for UK financial wellbeing policy, with the recent publication of the Financial Inclusion Strategy, and we're excited to be collaborating with Nest Insight to build upon our collective impact to date and deliver on our shared goals of widespread financial security and wellbeing.
We are delighted to announce a new strategic partnership with the Money and Pensions Service to deliver our aligned missions. This new strategic partnership further strengthens Nest Insight and MaPS’ shared commitment to deliver financial security and wellbeing for all, today and into retirement. This more formalised, enduring partnership will be a platform for closer collaboration and shared ambition in our joint mission to build inclusive financial security and peace of mind. We've worked in partnership with MaPS since 2018, when Nest Insight commenced its sidecar savings trial. Since then, the breadth and impact of our workplace savings programme has grown with MaPS’ support - building the evidence base that proves the potential for opt-out workplace savings schemes to be a game-changer for building financial inclusion, security and peace of mind. This follows publication of the Government’s Financial Inclusion Strategy, which included announcement of a National Coalition of Employers on workplace savings, co-steered by Nest Insight and MaPS alongside The Investing and Saving Alliance (TISA UK).

There's now less than a year until the final connection deadline for pension providers and schemes – 31 October 2026. Over the next 12 months, it's important we keep working together to reach full connection. As well as being a legal requirement, this will help improve the dashboards user experience and build confidence in the service. In a new article, we answer your frequently asked questions about connecting to the #PensionsDashboards ecosystem. Questions featured include: 🔌 How many pension providers and schemes are already connected? 🔌 What are my pensions dashboards duties? 🔌 When does my organisation have to connect? 🔌 What if I need to change my connection date? 🔌 Can my organisation connect voluntarily? Discover the answers to these questions and more in our article. Read FAQs: https://ow.ly/CNbO50XrzK9

Our 2022 Children and Young People Financial Wellbeing Survey found that children living in low-income households are less likely to receive a meaningful #FinancialEducation compared to their peers. To better understand why this might be, we partnered with DJS Research Ltd to explore how children and young people living in low-income households experience and learn about money. Our research also sheds light on how financial education interventions could best meet the needs of these young people, by centring the voices of children and young people, their families and practitioners who work with similar groups in community settings.
