Tourism is one of the world’s most powerful engines of opportunity, contributing 10% of global GDP, supporting 1 in 10 jobs, and creating connections that shape societies across the globe. Yet it rarely gets the platform it deserves. TOURISE Riyadh 2025 was designed to change that. To shape the future of Tourism. For the first time, TOURISE convened governments, NGOs, private enterprises, technologists, investors and cultural leaders at this scale, proving how powerful tourism becomes when elevated with purpose. Held from 11-13 November at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Center, the inaugural edition brought together more than 4,500 leaders, 250 CEOs, 140 speakers, and delegates from 10 sectors, joined by global icons including Sir Richard Branson and Cristiano Ronaldo, all united in reshaping the next era of tourism. In partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and the Saudi Tourism Authority | الهيئة السعودية للسياحة, Imagination designed and delivered a unique experience: a summit reimagined as a living, social, joyful, discovery-led platform to shape the future of Tourism. A few standout moments: 3 stages, with a 20-metre 'ultimate reset' Revolving Horizon Stage The Horizon stage used innovative engineering to present three distinct environments on one stage that seamlessly shifted between cinematic storytelling, brand vision moments, and immersive live performance, continually elevating the energy of the summit. 140 speakers, 67 full sessions and 4 creative sessions that broke convention and wowed the audience. The Innovation Zone A future-focused environment showcasing leadership and ideas shaping the future of global tourism. Where ideas were experienced, not exhibited. The Digital Hub and AI kiosks Enabling real-time content, wayfinding and personalised exploration, with 32 sponsors. Riyadh’s first beach club experience A first-of-its-kind networking landscape. Created with Nikki Beach Hospitality Group, music, culture and social energy brought to the heart of a global summit, with beach houses from partners such as CNN, TikTok, Snap Inc. and many more. The TOURISE Gala and Awards A memorable evening of glamour and awards for leading Tourism destinations, with a signature menu and a powerful performance by Loren Allred, honouring global tourism excellence. Now a year-round global platform, TOURISE will continue to drive collaboration, innovation and impact. What an incredible moment for the tourism sector in Saudi Arabia. TOURISE 2025 was not just an event. It was a statement of how far the Kingdom has advanced and a reflection of the bold vision shaping the future of tourism under Vision 2030. Being part of this journey and contributing to an experience of this scale and ambition is something I will always be proud of. My deepest gratitude goes to His Excellency Ahmed Alkhateeb, Minister of Tourism, for his continued leadership and trust. I am also grateful to Fahad Hamideddien and the Saudi Tourism Authority for empowering us to bring this vision to life. Their support and forward thinking approach is the reason events like TOURISE can set new global benchmarks. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Imagination team.
