“It keeps me awake at night.” That’s what Rachel McMillan, Chief Executive of Moya Cole Hospice said about the hospice funding crisis on BBC Breakfast this morning. This comes as our data reveals that 380 beds are out of use in English hospices, as a result of insufficient funding. Dying people and their families deserve better. We need full funding of specialist palliative care provided by hospices so no one misses out on the vital care they need at the end of their lives.
