What if your next award-winning campaign wasn’t about selling a product, but about selling purpose? Recruitment today isn’t that different from consumer marketing. Candidates act like customers: they research, compare, and judge before they “buy.” They scroll through your story, check your values, read reviews, and walk away the moment they see a red flag. The difference is that too many organisations still treat the candidate journey as an HR process rather than a brand experience. Every job ad, interview, and email is a touchpoint that shapes how people perceive who you are. Marketing should have a seat at the hiring table, shaping the story, designing the experience, and measuring the drop-off like any customer funnel. A few places to start: • Map the candidate journey the same way you map your customer journey.  • Test your messaging, job ads, landing pages, and outreach as if you were running a campaign.  • Retarget talent with real stories about how leaders lead, how teams grow, and how purpose shows up day-to-day. Recruitment and marketing are no longer separate disciplines. They both rely on trust, relevance, and authenticity to cut through the noise. Maybe the future of marketing isn’t about selling at all. It’s about belonging. Consultants and marketers in recruitment, how are you bringing purpose into your attraction strategy? P.S.: We’re hiring for several key roles across the UK and Ireland. Come and join us. https://lnkd.in/ekPKQHkK
