Earlier this month, we joined over 70,000 global tech leaders, innovators, and thinkers at Web Summit Lisbon 2025, one of the world’s largest technology conferences, to explore the ideas shaping the future of our digital world. We were delighted to host Diana Kocheva and the London Tech Community at our London office on 4th November for an inspiring evening of conversation and connection. The event, “From pitch decks to pipelines: The realities of agency and in-house marketing,” brought together four fantastic marketing leaders; Anna Bykova, Marketing Manager at B2B Fintech and former Senior Brand Manager at Parimatch International; Yuliia Krupenko, CMO at a stealth-mode travel startup and former Head of Marketing at Waggel; Marina Kuniets, Project Delivery Lead at Philip Morris and former Head of New Business at Banda; and Olya Gudyma, Consultant and Project Lead at Accenture Song, formerly Account Director for Apple at MAL. The panel explored the nuances of marketing across industries and cultures, from global brands like Uber to agile startups, offering an honest look at the similarities, differences, and complexities of agency versus in-house life. Yesterday we hosted the 2025 Diversity in Tech Conference! In partnership with ComputerWeekly.com, we brought together incredible voices from across the tech ecosystem, including Karen Blake, Sarah Turner, Emily Hall-Strutt, Francesca Caruso, Nir Evron, Simon Crichton, Zoe Kleinman, Debbie Forster MBE, Akua Opong CITP FBCS FRSA, and Avril Chester, each sharing their journeys and perspectives on building a more inclusive industry. What really stood out was how varied everyone’s journeys were. Many of our speakers didn’t begin in tech at all; they came from sales, retail, the arts, public service, and found their way into technology through unexpected opportunities. Those moments of discovery went on to define entire careers. Our guests agreed that if we want more women and underrepresented groups to thrive in tech, we can’t leave it to chance.
