    📈 AI on the Rise: Why Emerging Talent Matters More Than Ever Amidst the rapid adoption of AI and ongoing economic pressures, the number of organisations planning to grow their workforce is in decline. According to a recent McKinsey report, since early 2022, job ads for roles with high exposure to AI and LLMs have dropped by 17% more than roles with low exposure. Meanwhile, PwC’s Global AI Jobs Barometer shows that skills required for AI-exposed jobs are evolving 66% faster than for other roles, up from 25% just last year. These changes to the job market are raising concerns about job displacement within the graduate community, with 11% of graduates having already changed career plans due to AI, while 14% feel pessimistic about their prospects, most reporting that they were changing careers due to fear of job obsolescence, reports Prospects at Jisc. Despite this, most organisations have yet to see AI deliver large-scale productivity gains. So why the hiring pause? Amongst external pressures, it’s often driven by observed task-level efficiencies and the anticipation of future transformation. 🚨 The risk? This cautious hiring approach risks creating long-term talent gaps. Without investment in emerging talent and future skills, organisations risk losing high-quality talent and their pipeline of future leaders.     The Grayce team will be joining the Booth Centre’s Sleep-Out! 🌙    Tonight, some of the Grayce team will be joining the Booth Centre Sleep-Out at Manchester Cathedral to mark their 30th anniversary and raise funds to support people experiencing homelessness.    While spending one night outside doesn’t replicate the reality many face, it’s an opportunity to show solidarity and drive awareness of the challenges impacting our communities.    The Booth Centre delivers life-changing support, from skills development and employment opportunities to creative projects and wellbeing initiatives.     No tricks, just treats from last week’s All Hands! 🎃 Last Thursday, we all came together to reflect on the past quarter, look ahead to what’s to come and celebrate our talented peers. It was a jammed-packed session, beginning with a reflection from our CEO, Becs Roycroft, who reflected on her first four weeks since joining the Grayce team, bringing invaluable insights and inspiration for the future. Our HR team conjured up some powerful insights on our employee feedback and how it is shaping our culture and employee experience, as well as sharing that we are repeatedly being described as supported, inclusive and friendly. After an update on our refreshed, streamlined training catalogue, we had a client spotlight on United Utilities. It was great to see the impact our Analysts are making in water conservation and data innovation. 💧 🏆 And of course, we raised our goblets to the G Award winners – talented Analysts who’ve gone above and beyond in client delivery, self-development, and living our values.
