Culture sits at the heart of everything we do, and in the latest Beyond the Numbers episode, our founder Scott Parsons breaks down exactly why. “You become the average of the people you surround yourself with.” It’s a line that rings true for us at Forsyth Barnes, and it sets the tone for Scott’s conversation on what it really takes to scale a high-growth recruitment business while keeping culture at the centre. In this episode, Scott discusses: 🎙️ Surrounding yourself with great people during fast growth 🎙️ Unlearning limiting beliefs as success builds 🎙️ The rise of AI in recruitment, and why it should remove the mundane, not replace the human 🎙️ How resilience, hustle, kindness and humility still shape the heart of recruitment From London to New York, Nottingham to Dubai, our journey is built on these principles, and Scott’s conversation with Bev Wakefield is a powerful reflection of what’s possible when ambition meets humanity. Tune in to the full episode of Beyond the Numbers. It’s a good one.

NYC brought the energy! 🔗 💜 A sold-out room, honest conversations, and breakout sessions that sparked real reflection - the atmosphere was electric💫 Last week, The Table, our community brand powered by Forsyth Barnes, explored themes around imposter syndrome, personal branding, and owning the value you bring. The night was filled with candid stories, practical insights, and moments of self-discovery. Panelists Robin Sutara, Sai Sharanya Nalla, and Peggy tsAI shared perspectives that sparked conversation and inspired action, while breakout sessions gave attendees space to reflect and connect. Behind the scenes, the Forsyth Barnes team ensured the night ran seamlessly, creating an environment where authenticity and encouragement were at the heart of every discussion. Huge shout-out to those who make these events happen: Corin, Bethan, Jessica, Chloe, and our host for the evening, Charley! The feedback has been incredible, and our community of female leaders, aspiring female leaders and allies is growing by the day. Watch this space for what's next for The Table...! 📷 photo credit: Richard Jimenez

What a night at the Women in Tech Employer Awards 2025! 🏆 Huge congratulations to our very own Jessica Dobie, who was named Best Recruitment Agency Consultant! Her passion for championing women in technology shines through in everything she does, and it’s fantastic to see that recognised on such a big stage. This recognition reinforces the importance of continuing to drive measurable DEI impact within tech. Through platforms such as The Table and our strategic DEI hiring initiatives, Forsyth Barnes partners with organisations to embed inclusive practices into their recruitment strategies, helping them attract and retain diverse talent that fuels innovation and long-term success. A special mention to Chloe and Bethan from our Marketing Team, who also attended the event. As committed advocates for women in tech and leadership, they play an essential role in advancing the DEI agenda across Forsyth Barnes and The Table, ensuring diversity and inclusion remain front and centre in the conversations we have with our clients and partners. An inspiring evening, incredible people, and plenty of motivation to keep pushing for progress 🤝 #WITEAwards #womenintech #awardrecognition

Communication wins, every time. A couple of weeks ago, we asked our network what really matters most in the candidate experience. The results couldn’t be clearer: 👉 68% said clear communication and feedback 👉 14% said speed of process 👉 13% said salary and role transparency 👉 5% said feeling valued and respected The message? Even the best offer or fastest process can fall flat if communication breaks down. That’s exactly where the right recruitment partner makes all the difference. At Forsyth Barnes, we work as an extension of your brand, keeping every candidate informed, respected, and valued at every stage. Because great communication doesn’t just create a better candidate experience, it builds trust, strengthens your reputation, and leads to better hiring results. If attracting and securing top talent is your goal, let’s chat about how we can elevate your candidate journey. #candidatejourney #hiringneeds #talentpartner

We set an exceptionally high bar for who we partner with, and it’s not about brand reputation or market presence. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. We work best with clients who share our dedication to finding the right person, not just filling a role. That shared commitment is what truly sets us apart. 🎯 We take time to understand your business - the people, the culture, and the vision. 🎯 We rigorously vet every candidate for long-term alignment, not short-term fixes. 🎯 We deliver clarity, communication, and confidence at every stage. But this only works when we collaborate. When clients open their diaries and bring us into their world, we deliver exceptional results, together. Because when you prioritise relationships over transactions, you build partnerships that last. In this snippet, Scott sat down with Bev to talk about exactly this on the Beyond the Numbers podcast. Full episode coming soon! If you want a partner who treats your search like it’s their own, let’s talk. #talentpartner #clientcommitment #deliveringresults

We proudly power The Table 🤝 A few years ago, a group of DEI advocates at Forsyth Barnes began hosting talks on the topic of DEI with well-known brands. One theme carried across all of the panel discussions: women in leadership continue to face significant obstacles, and we felt a duty to address this. Around a boardroom table, we brainstormed… an event series? Or a podcast? But in Forsyth Barnes style, we had to do better, be bolder, and think bigger. That's when The Table came to life. Not another event series. Not another campaign. But a 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲. Why the name '𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘛𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦'? Because we kept coming back to the same vision: the executive boardroom table. What happens when there is no room for women at that table? 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲. And that's exactly how The Table was born. Through The Table, we connect ambitious women with opportunity, amplify voices that deserve to be heard, and open doors that have been closed for too long. From mentorship and executive networking to real pathways into leadership, we’re helping women not just sit at the table, but shape what happens around it. Want to join the conversation? We’ll be at Databricks in NYC NEXT WEEK, hosting a discussion on imposter syndrome and personal branding alongside an incredible lineup of women in leadership from Nike, JPMorganChase and Databricks.
