Major Patron of the Paris Opera since 2023, CHANEL is proud to support this major dance institution for its tour in Kuala Lumpur where Paris Opera dancers gave two representations on 18th and 19th of November. On this occasion and as Founding Patron of the Paris Opera Junior Ballet, CHANEL imagined the costumes of the dancers aged between 18 and 23 for their performances in the ballet “Eternal Rift” in Kuala Lumpur, choreographed by Julian Nicosia. Other ballets from the repertoire were performed by the Junior Ballet alongside Étoile dancers Sae-Eun Park and Roxane Stojanov, Premier danseur Francesco Mura, and Sujet Antonio Conforti: Allegro Brillante by George Balanchine, À La Manière De… by Jean-Guillaume Bart, Gisele’s Act II “pas de deux”, and Mi Favorita by José Martinez. By supporting the Paris Opera Junior Ballet, CHANEL continues its commitment to the next generations of talents and strengthens its ties with dance. The CHANEL Culture Fund champions and accelerates visionary initiatives across the arts, which is why we are delighted to partner with Art21 on a new documentary series: IRL/url. Art21 is an independent non-profit media organisation that connects audiences with contemporary creatives through original films and education initiatives. In a world increasingly shaped by both physical and digital experiences, IRL/url spotlights eight pioneering artists navigating this space. Designed to meet audiences where they are, the series presents over 30 short-form episodes created for social media. The documentaries profile Neïl Beloufa, Jacky Connolly, Sara Cwynar, Rachel Rossin, and Xin Liu, alongside Next Prize-winner Ho Tzu Nyen, CHANEL Connects guest Julien Creuzet, and Jacolby Satterwhite—who featured in ‘The Window’ at CHANEL’s Time & Life headquarters in London. Each episode follows their creative journeys—from the studio to the city streets—as they navigate the realities of our hybrid world. Watch the first episode now on @ChanelOfficial TikTok. New episodes are released weekly on Art21’s TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and https://lnkd.in/epiqCfJd

This is a universe, the Universe of CHANEL. Beyond space and time, a conversation unfolds between CHANEL’s Artistic Director of Fashion Activities Matthieu Blazy and Gabrielle Chanel. An idea of the future from the past is found in the House’s fundamentals: tweed, jersey and silk; the architecture of the CHANEL suit laid bare; jewellery, so intrinsic to CHANEL, is loaded and treasured. Above all, there is an idea of freedom, of a silhouette in motion. The idea of not just one CHANEL woman, but rather, of CHANEL women. CHANEL Spring Summer 2026 collection. Matthieu Blazy for CHANEL.
