Healthy ghoals for Halloween 🫐👻 Our Dutch team have dropped a creative pack concept into Coop Norge, launching a limited edition blueberry pack designed to support healthier swaps this Halloween. Aimed at young families, the pack blends nutrition with novelty, featuring a reusable snack box and spooky sticker sheet to encourage engagement, repeat consumption and the development of healthy habits from an early age. With fruit consumption among children still below recommended levels, this activation addresses a clear opportunity for the fresh produce category, aligning with shopper values around wellbeing, convenience and fun.
Coop Norge and BerryWorld are creating a healthy Halloween With the launch of a limited edition Halloween blueberry pack, COOP Norway and BerryWorld are offering parents a fun and healthy alternative to traditional Halloween treats. In Norway, approximately one in six children aged 8–15 are overweight or obese, according to the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH) [1]. The NIPH emphasizes that healthy eating habits and regular physical activity are key to preventing childhood obesity. Yet, recent data from 2020–2022 shows that only 23% of students in middle and upper secondary school consume fruit or berries daily[2]. To tackle this worrying trend, we are focusing on younger children in primary school aiming to build healthy habits early and reduce the risk of obesity later in life. BerryWorld and COOP Norway are committed to supporting this effort by making health exciting and engaging for children. The special Halloween punnet includes a playful snack gadget, perfect for filling with berries and packing in lunchboxes. To spark creativity and seasonal fun, the pack also features spooky stickers, allowing kids to decorate their gadget and create their own berry-loving monster.
