**Proud moment alert** I am delighted to announce Tributary Public Risk is now an approved coverholder at Lloyd's of London! This is a massive milestone for our company, and for me personally, representing not only a clear signal of confidence from our partners but also the successful completion of a rigorous compliance and regulatory process. I can honestly say this achievement would not have been possible without the exceptional guidance of Eric Walling, Lindsey Davies, and Ruth Williams from Amwins Global Risks. They provided invaluable support from the very beginning, turning a complex and potentially lengthy process into a smooth and ultimately successful one. They felt like true partners throughout, and I am deeply grateful for their expertise, diligence, and support. A heartfelt thanks to Lloyd's Canada for their support and guidance also! Watch this space for some official announcements in the near future......

  • We've partnered with the Matthew Wilson Multiple Myeloma Fund at Blood Cancer UK since 2023, and are beyond proud to share that we've exceeded our goal of raising £200,000 by the end of this year! Every contribution has helped fund vital research and support for those affected. From marathons, walks, cycles and abseiling challenges, to auctions, bake sales and donations – we're blown away by the time, effort and unwavering support our colleagues and community have put into helping us raise £205,800. This amount is more than a number; it represents hope, progress and the power of collective action in the fight against blood cancer, which currently affects 250,000 people in the UK. Words truly cannot express our gratitude and appreciation. Thank you 🩵

  • Our annual London Symposium is one of our biggest events of the year and we’re thrilled with how it went! Last week, we welcomed 24 US retail brokers to London for three days of networking, learning and connection. The programme featured panel discussions with CEOs from our underwriting partners, capability presentations from our talented AGR broking teams, sessions with the Lloyd's Lab and insights from The Voice of Insurance host, Mark Geoghegan. Our guests also enjoyed a touch of London EC3 history with a guided tour of Lloyd's of London, a fun evening at the Katy Perry concert, and a final dinner in the Adam Room. This cohort was our largest ever, since launching the event in 2022, and it’s been amazing to watch it grow and evolve each year. A huge thank you to everyone who made it possible – our colleagues, external speakers, and of course, our incredible retailers. We loved having you in London and hope you found the experience as valuable as we did. Until next time! • A highlight of the AGR London Symposium was an evening in the Adam Room at Lloyd's of London, the perfect setting to celebrate the relationships and expertise that define this market.   The London Market has always been about more than products or capacity. It’s about people bringing specialist knowledge, trust and collaboration to complex risks. At Amwins Global Risks, we’re proud to be part of that story and to work alongside clients who share that same spirit.

There is nowhere like London. Amwins Global Risks hosted 24 of our retail clients for the annual London Symposium, a week of education, capability sessions, and a bit of fun along the way. A highlight was dinner in the Adam Room at Lloyd’s of London - a fitting spot to celebrate the relationships that make this market what it is. London and Lloyd's have always been about more than capacity or products - it’s about the people who come together to solve complex problems with trust, innovation and deep specialist expertise. At AGR, we’re proud to be part of that story. We are committed to our cause to be the best wholesaler in the London market. We bring solutions to our customers and help them win. A big thank you to everyone who joined us for the time, the energy, and the great conversation.

  • Our London Symposium was another great week full of insightful sessions and wonderful activities. A huge thank you again to our US retailers, who made the week such a success, and to everyone at AGR who contributed.

    Director, Strategic Relationships

Last week Amwins Global Risks hosted our 4th Annual US Retailer Symposium. When we launched this Symposium four years ago, our goal was to bring US retailers closer to the London market—helping them deliver greater value to their clients through the unique benefits of the subscription-based London model. Four years on, we truly believe this was our best event yet. The London Market is a truly special place, and we look forward to continuing working with our retail partners to ensure seamless access. Thank you to all our US Retail clients who took the time to meet with us in London. Amwins is committed to our long-term independent wholesale model. We will NEVER compete with our clients!

  • This week, we held our annual London Symposium, in which we invite some of our US retail brokers to London to tell them about the London Market and share our capabilities, as well as spending time together outside of work to build further on those relationships. Our CEO panel on Wednesday, hosted by Roddy Graham, featured the CEOs of a few of our carrier partners: Emma Woolley of Talbot Underwriting, Ed Cruttenden of RenaissanceRe, Alex (Aj) Powell of AEGIS London, and Kevin Shallow of QBE Insurance. It was one of many highlights for our retailers – more to follow on the rest of the event soon! #agrlondonsymposium

Head of Financial Lines, Casualty and Product Recall Insurance

Yesterday I hosted the CEO panel at the Annual Retail Symposium, organised by Amwins Global Risks. It was a fantastic opportunity to spend time with our retail clients and hear directly from leaders across the London insurance market, including Emma Woolley (CEO, Talbot), Ed Cruttenden (CEO, RenRe), Alex (Aj) Powell (CEO, Aegis), and Kevin Shallow (Head of International Markets, QBE). I am extremely grateful to them for their input and forthright views on the future of our industry. We discussed a wide range of topics from the effects AI will have, to the appetite of the market and what risks the future may present.
