🔗 https://tmsk.sg/aly ASEAN’s Digital Economy to Surpass US$300B: AI & Innovation Drive the Next Decade In the latest 10th edition of the e-Conomy SEA report by Google, Temasek, and Bain & Company – titled “𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗜 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆” – it has been predicted that the region is on track to surpass US$300 billion in Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) by 2025, 1.5 times the inaugural forecast 10 years ago. Revenues are forecasted to hit US$135 billion as profitability accelerates across the region. Private funding is seeing a cautious uptick, with late-stage deals and digital financial services drawing the most attention. Investors, regulators, and management teams of companies must work together to drive sustainable growth, operations, and governance among businesses. International Transition Plan Network (ITPN) has published a new report, "Private Sector Transition Plans: A Critical Tool for Mobilising Finance," which outlines five key mechanisms through which credible transition plans can unlock the capital needed for a climate-resilient economy.
