We are grateful to be selected as one of the mentees for The Amplifier 2025 – Employment Track, alongside BagoSphere and DeafTawk. This opportunity means a great deal to us. For years, we have been committed to advancing disability inclusion through training, employment pathways, and lifelong learning and being chosen for this programme affirms the importance of building ecosystems where persons with disabilities can thrive with dignity and independence. A big thank you to Centre for Impact Investing and Practices (CIIP), Philanthropy Asia Alliance, and the entire Amplifier team for believing in our mission, and to the Macquarie Group foundation for the catalytic capital and support that will help us deepen and scale our impact. We’re also excited to learn alongside our fellow mentees BagoSphere and DeafTawk and to work with the mentors, partners, and ecosystem leaders who make The Amplifier such a powerful platform. Looking forward to a meaningful journey ahead as we continue to unlock opportunities and remove barriers to employment for persons with disabilities. #inclus #inclusSingapore #SocialEntrepreneurship #DiversityandInclusion #DisabilityInclusion #Employability #InclusiveFuture #Amplifier2025
The Centre for Impact Investing and Practices (CIIP) and Philanthropy Asia Alliance (PAA) are delighted to unveil the mentee cohort for Amplifier 2025’s Unlocking Opportunities and Breaking Down Barriers to Employment track at the Global Impact Chapter 2025. The event is co-organised by #CIIP, MYSC, JLIN LLC, and Extra-Mile Ventures Singapore. Three mentees on the Employment track will receive up to S$100K in catalytic capital, supported by our Impact Innovation Partner Macquarie Group Foundation and receive industry mentorship as well as sectoral and market insights. Each mentee will receive tailored support through training, pro bono consulting, and mentorship from over 70 multi-sector partners who are part of the Amplifier network. Using a whole-of-ecosystem approach, the Amplifier brings partners together to help impact-driven companies scale their presence and impact in Asia by growing their operations and strategic connections. The cohort was selected for their strong alignment with the track’s impact themes; demonstrated commitment to social impact, evidence of early customer traction; and clear, scalable business plans." The Amplifier 2025 Employment track mentee cohort comprises: 🌳 BagoSphere (SG): Building human capability ecosystems across Southeast Asia for frontline workers and leaders, creating employability pathways that connect young people to meaningful roles in sectors such as microfinance, education, retail, hospitality, and transport. 🤟🏼 DeafTawk (SG): Empowering the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community through innovation, inclusion, and employment by providing real-time interpretation services, accessibility tools, and digital skill development that open pathways to employment and financial independence. 🤝🏼 Inclus (SG): Advancing disability inclusion through training, employment, and lifelong learning opportunities for persons with disabilities (PWDs), working with partners to create inclusive pathways that empower individuals with disabilities to achieve meaningful employment and independence. We are delighted to have representatives from each venture for the beginning of this journey with us in Singapore: Zhihan Lee and Tippi Fernandez from #BagoSphere, Abdul Qadeer, Ali Shabbar, and Wamiq Hasan from #DeafTawk, and Anders Tan and Shaun Tan from #Inclus.
