Redeem a coupon, promo code, or discount code

A JetBrains coupon, such as a discount or promo code, usually looks like the example below. Here’s what to look for in the coupon flyer:

1. The subscription type – personal (for private individuals) or commercial (for organizations).
2. The discount amount.
3. The products it applies to.
4. A link to redeem it.
5. The expiration date.

You can redeem your coupon in one of two ways, depending on the coupon type.

Redeem a discount code

If you received a discount code, you can apply it at checkout by following these steps:

1. Choose a JetBrains IDE, AI product, or team tool you want to buy with a discount. Be sure to check your coupon flyer to make sure your code is valid for the selected product.

   If you have a discount code for AI Credits, you can redeem it via your JetBrains Account. Follow these instructions to add AI Credits to your cart and then redeem the code at checkout.  

2. Click Buy to go to the checkout page.
3. On the checkout page, click Have a discount code?
   
4. Enter your code in the popup and click Apply discount.
   
5. Below the product name, you’ll see the discount name and how much you’re saving.
6. Enter your order and payment details, and click Place the order when you're ready to pay. 

Once your order is confirmed, your JetBrains license will arrive in your inbox. Follow the link in the email to activate it.

Redeem a code for a complimentary subscription

If you received a 100% discount coupon or promo code for a complimentary subscription, you don't need to go through the checkout process. Instead, you can redeem it on a special page:

1. Go to the complimentary subscription page.
2. Enter your coupon code and personal details.
   
3. Select the product you want. Check your coupon flyer to make sure your code is valid for that product.
4. Click Redeem.

That's it! Your JetBrains license will arrive in your inbox within a few minutes. Follow the link in the email to activate it.
