What an awesome few days at the LAPA 2025 Conference in Auckland! A huge shout-out to our team from WT (and Billie Cleeve for pulling this together!) who stepped up to share thought-leadership, practical insight and candid stories with the property and infrastructure community: ·      Warren Wilks on “Project Management: How to recover when projects go horribly wrong” reminding us that recovery is just as important as conception. ·      Alex Hampshire on a shared panel for “Asset Management: You can’t go from zero to hero, where do we start!” which was a fresh take on building capability and momentum. ·      Jason Power and Tim Lott on “Project Infrastructure Costs” diving into cost planning with defendable contingencies and managing costs during delivery. Thank you to Local Authority Property Association ( LAPA) for bringing together such a dynamic community of local authority property professionals, and for the opportunity to learn, connect and share. This year’s Summit marked a powerful moment for WT - a celebration of who we are today and where we’re heading next. As we launched our 2029 strategy, the energy in the room was incredible.
