Kalaari partnered with byteXL in 2024. byteXL is transforming engineering education and bridging the employability gap at scale through their tech-enabled learning ecosystem. We’re confident this collaboration will unlock new possibilities for students, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and exposure needed to thrive in a fast-changing tech landscape. • Yesterday’s India Alpha gathering in collaboration with Venture Dock brought together some of the most thoughtful voices shaping the future of technology across India and the US. The discussions reinforced a belief core to us at Kalaari: India’s innovation momentum is accelerating, and the next generation of global companies will emerge from this vibrant corridor. From frontier technologies to AI-native products and global-scale platforms, the energy in the room reflected a shared conviction that India and the US, together, will unlock the next decade of opportunity. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to our speakers and contributors whose insights made the evening truly special: Preethy Padmanabhan, Vivek Vipul, Vani Kola, Lochan Alagh, Anupam Rastogi, Priya Ramachandran, Rishabh Agarwal, Murali Chirala, BV Jagadeesh, MR Rangaswami. A special mention to our partners Venture Dock and Foster Ventures for helping bring this gathering to life. Events like these remind us why cross-border bridges matter now more than ever, they are where ideas converge, collaborations begin, and shared futures are built. #India #VC #Technology #startup

  • If the world is biased, the algorithms we build will be too. AI reflects our real-world patterns: the same assumptions that undervalue women in workplaces, leadership, or finance quietly reappear in automated decisions - who gets shortlisted, who gets credit, who gets care. Only now, the bias is scaled, silent, and harder to challenge. Fixing this starts with fixing who gets to shape the systems themselves. Read more in our CXXO 𝐖𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭: 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐍𝐃(𝐀𝐈), a data-driven look at where bias shows up, how it impacts women, and what it will take to build AI that serves everyone. Healthcare today is digitally advanced but operationally overwhelmed. Almost every patient interaction now creates a data trail, yet clinicians spend 2 hours on documentation for every hour with patients. When the system is this overloaded, even patient-facing tasks, like scheduling an appointment, end up feeling unnecessarily difficult. This is where Pype AI comes in, an AI agentic platform purpose-built to address healthcare coordination bottlenecks. Pype AI’s workflow-native, fully observable voice agents take on the coordination load from end to end, easing operational pressure and giving hospitals and clinics much-needed capacity back. What distinguishes Pype AI is its infrastructure-first approach. Instead of building a surface-level voice interface. We’re excited to lead Pype AI’s $1.2M in pre-seed funding round. This funding will help Pype: - Support hospitals facing rising workloads, shrinking staff, and increasing patient expectations. - Scale its research-backed patient communication platform. - Expand into the US market — a $50B+ care management opportunity. Congratulations Dhruv Mehra, Ashish Tripathy, and the entire Pype AI team on this fundraise. To deep dive into our investment thesis read our blog. Link in the comments section. 𝐖𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐈𝐒𝐎 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲'𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐈-𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤. One consistent theme: the gap between vendor pitches and buyer priorities has widened significantly and AI is why. Both sides are figuring out new rules. 𝐂𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐬 are taking a cautious approach here, not looking for more tools but solutions that understand the nuances of their environment: budget constraints, compliance pressures, integration complexity, and the realities of running security at scale. From our conversations, 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: → Solve a real pain point - deeply solving one problem exceptionally well beats surface-level coverage of ten. → Establish trust - POCs, references, and measurable outcomes trump feature lists. → Understand the buyer’s context - understanding existing infrastructure, team capacity, and organisational readiness. This is part of what we're unpacking in our report. Stay tuned to know more the about how the landscape is changing with the convergence of AI x Cybersecurity. • “Progress isn’t automatic. It’s a choice—renewed by every generation. At the CXXO NoCeiling Summit 2025, Vani reflects on how India stands at a unique inflection point: an ancient civilization with a young nation’s adaptability and openness to technology. The question isn’t whether the future will be transformed by AI and deep tech - it will. The real question is: will we shape it, or let it be written for us?” Vani Kola, TiE Delhi-NCR #Leadership #Innovation #india #startup

It was about who's attacking and how fast they're moving. What's breaking isn't just the volume, it's the fundamentals.
