Today we were delighted to host the launch of the French Economic Footprint in Ireland 2025 report at Jameson Distillery Bow St. in partnership with the French Embassy in Ireland and the France Ireland Chamber of Commerce. Featuring keynote addresses from Minister of State for European Affairs and Defence Thomas Byrne and H.E Céline Place,  Ambassador of France to Ireland, the event celebrated the close economic and cultural ties between France and Ireland. A celebratory weekend was in order as Midleton Distillery was officially presented with the Most Awarded International Distillery 2025 award at the Tasting Alliance Top Shelf Gala 2025, as a result of a standout performance at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.    And that’s not all - we also took home top honours across several key categories:  🏆Best Blended Irish Whiskey – Jameson Triple Triple  🏆Best Single Pot Still – Yellow Spot  🏆Best Overall Irish Whiskey – Yellow Spot     This recognition showcases not only the depth of our portfolio but also the incredible talent and dedication across our teams – well done to all involved!   #Awards #TheIrishDistillersSpirit #IrishWhiskey #MidletonDistillery #SFWSC2025 

Just over a year into our partnership with Ballymaloe Farm and Earthworm Foundation, our pilot project which aims to better understand the benefits of regenerative farming is going strong.   Before harvest this year, we checked in with Darren Allen of Ballymaloe Farm who talked thorough the measures he is implementing as part of the project and their impact on soil and biodiversity.   Darren is also a demonstration farmer in the Teagasc #SignPost Programme, an initiative Irish Distillers is proud to support. As a demonstration farmer, Darren holds farm walks to share his experience and knowledge with other tillage farmers.   The Teagasc #Signpost Programme is Ireland's national initiative to lead climate action in agriculture through science-based solutions and practical support for farmers. #RegenerativeAgriculture #Teagasc #IrishDistillers #EarthwormFoundation

In 2025, Midleton Distillery achieved the accolade of ‘Most Awarded International Distillery’ following a fantastic performance across Jameson, Redbreast, Midleton Very Rare, The Spot Range, Powers and Method and Madness at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.   Wishing our team the best of luck as they travel to San Francisco to officially receive the award at The Tasting Alliance Top Shelf Gala this coming weekend - a proud moment for the people and place behind our portfolio of Irish whiskeys. Did you know that the Distillers Cottage on the grounds of Midleton Distillery has been home to generations of Irish whiskey makers, including Barry Crockett, one of the most influential figures in modern Irish whiskey. Now fully restored, it houses the Irish Distillers Archive, where decades of distilling records and historical documents are carefully preserved.
