The Peninsula Beverly Hills unveils a stunning refresh of its 195 guestrooms and rooftop oasis, blending timeless elegance with modern comfort. In collaboration with Hirsch Bedner Associates, the redesign honors the hotel’s French-inspired heritage while enhancing the guest experience ahead of its 35th anniversary in 2026.

For almost half a century, The Peninsula Manila has been a cherished part of the city’s festive traditions, welcoming families to gather beneath The Lobby’s iconic Christmas tree. This year, the holiday season began with the lighting of a spectacular 45-foot tree that filled The Lobby with a dazzling display of lights and music. Joining our leadership team for the lighting ceremony were children from Make-A-Wish Philippines, a heartfelt reminder that the true magic of Christmas lies in generosity, compassion and hope. 

We were honoured to take part in The World’s 50 Best Hotels celebrations, where we welcomed long-time industry friends and many of the esteemed official partners to an unforgettable evening in the St. George Ballroom at The Peninsula London. The gala dinner was a vibrant showcase of our passion for hospitality, fine cuisine, and classic cars — featuring our iconic Peninsula Rolls-Royce and a stunning display of vintage automobiles set among the dining tables. From our brand-new Peninsula Pit Stop serving espresso martinis to live musical performances that had guests dancing into the night, every detail was thoughtfully curated to celebrate excellence in hospitality. Our team and guests at The Peninsula Bangkok came together to celebrate Loy Krathong, a cherished Thai tradition where people gather by the water to float beautifully decorated krathongs, lotus-shaped vessels, as offerings to the Goddess of the River.   Set along the banks of the River of Kings, the celebration featured captivating performances, artisanal Thai cuisine, and heartfelt service that embodied the true spirit of Thai hospitality. This beautiful ritual symbolises gratitude, renewal, and the letting go of misfortunes, a serene moment of reflection and unity shared by all.

In Japan, autumn is a magical season that has inspired centuries of poetry and art; a time for celebrating beauty and the transience of falling leaves. The Peninsula Tokyo celebrates the Autumn season by showcasing Japanese heritage and the refined beauty of the season. Our iconic Lobby is now adorned with a spectacular Autumn Kamon artwork entitled “Kamon Kaede Art”, a collaboration with father-and-son Japanese artists, Mr Syoryu (father) and Yoho (son) Hatoba, who are dedicated to preserving the profound history of the Kamon culture.

The stunning Coromandel screen inside Gaddi’s, the Michelin-starred French gastronomy known for its timeless glamour at The Peninsula Hong Kong, was painted in 1690 during the Qing Dynasty by Feng Langgong in Foshan. This priceless masterpiece depicts scenes from the Summer Palace of Emperor Kangxi and serves as a striking focal point in the restaurant’s lounge area. Notably, the screen is one of a pair; its counterpart is housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Together, the two screens reflect the rich cultural heritage and artistic history of the period.
