Multi-Session / Recurring Events
Workarounds for multi-session events in Luma
We have a few different options for recurring / multi-session events in Luma.
Clone Event for Multiple Sessions
The easiest way to create multiple sessions is to use the Clone Event feature. This allows you to quickly duplicate an event with different dates and times.
To clone an event:
- Go to your event's manage page and click the More tab
- Click Clone Event
- Choose the calendar and visibility settings for your new event(s)
- Add one or more new times using either:
- Add Time button to manually add individual dates/times (up to 30 events)
- Recurrence button to automatically generate recurring dates based on a pattern
- Select your timezone
- Click Clone Event
Everything except the guest list and event blasts will be copied to the new event(s), including the event description, location, ticket types, and settings.
Note: If you're cloning Zoom events, you can create up to 10 events at once and optionally generate new Zoom meetings/webinars for each event.
Other Options
- You can create a Luma Calendar that lists multiple events on the calendar page. This is great if you have many events. Note that we don't support bulk registration for events.
- If you have events that are related to each other, you can paste links to other events in the event descriptions. That allows people to really easily navigate between events.
- If you have just a couple different sessions on the same day, you can create different Ticket Types on one event and then ask people to book the ticket that they are interested in.
