Chifeng Gold Completes Election of the Ninth Board of Directors and the Appointment of Senior Management Team On October 31, Chifeng Gold convened its second extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of 2025 in Beijing, successfully completing the election of a new board of directors. On the same day, the Company held the first meeting of its ninth Board of Directors, during which the Chairman and Vice Chairmen were elected, and a new senior management team was appointed. CHIFENG JILONG GOLD LEADERSHIP VISITS GHANA The senior leadership of Chifeng Gold paid a visit to Ghana from 13th – 17th September 2025. This visit followed an earlier one in April, when the company was concluding processes ahead of its successful Hong Kong Stock Exchange listing, complementing its existing listing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The dual listing has positioned Chifeng more strongly on the international stage, reflecting the confidence of global investors and affirming the company’s place among the leading mid-tier gold producers. The Ghana visit provided an opportunity to share these developments with the Wassa team and to align on the outlook for Wassa operations. Discussions were on Chifeng’s investment in Ghana and its commitment to collaboration with Ghana’s regulatory stakeholders. At Wassa, Mr. Chen and Mr. Thorne led the senior executives through inspections at Benso, B-Shoot, 242, and the Setters Area, following an underground safety induction. The visits included tours of the underground operations, where the delegation gained firsthand appreciation of the progress being made and the potential of these projects to deliver long-term value. Beyond the operational updates, the visit was also an opportunity for direct engagement between the senior leadership and site managers. Discussions centered on strategies for achieving operational targets, enhancing efficiencies, and positioning Wassa for sustainable growth. Speaking after the visit, Chairman Wang noted: “This visit has given us confidence in the strong foundations being built at Wassa. THE EXPLORATION TEAM OF SEPON GOLD AND COPPER MINE VISITS CHIFENG GOLD HEADQUARTERS On September 11, Zhao Guanghui, Deputy General Manager of LXML, a subsidiary of Chifeng Gold in Laos, led a delegation from the exploration team to visit the Company headquarters. They held in-depth exchanges with Wang Jianhua, Chairman of Chifeng Gold, and employees at Beijing headquarters. During the exchange, Zhao provided a detailed introduction to the discovery process of the SND deposit. The team completed over 40k meters of drilling within just 10 months, simultaneously accomplishing geological modeling and resource estimation. Particularly noteworthy is that the total discovery cost of this deposit was less than US$4 million, with a discovery cost per ounce gold of less than US$1, far below the industry average. The discovery of this porphyry deposit holds significant strategic importance, not only substantially increasing the resources of LXML but also paving new paths for the Company's exploration efforts in the surrounding areas of the Sepon Mine and even across Southeast Asia. Chairman Wang highly commended the outstanding achievements of the Sepon exploration team. He said that any great accomplishment stems from long-term persistence and professional pursuit guided by independent thinking and benefits for all. Chifeng Gold adhered to independent analysis and autonomous decision-making, firmly committing to continued investment in exploration. The exploration team, with strong willpower and belief, withstood pressure and, relying on professional technical capabilities and a dedicated spirit, achieved a significant deposit discovery with extremely low costs and in a remarkably short time.
