Ordinary life for Extraordinary people Revolutionizing mobility with self-balancing robotics

À propos

We're hiring worldwide! https://wandercraft.welcomekit.co/ At Wandercraft, we believe movement is freedom. Since 2012, our mission has been simple but bold: restore mobility where it’s been lost, and expand what’s possible with robotics that move like people do. We see robotics as the ultimate partners—machines that can do what humans cannot, or should not, do. That means giving back the ability to walk to someone with a spinal cord injury, or stepping in on a factory floor where work is too heavy, repetitive, or hazardous. We pioneered the world’s first self-balancing exoskeleton—technology that doesn’t rely on crutches or walkers, but lets people stand and walk freely. Today, our work goes beyond healthcare. From rehabilitation centers to factory floors, and soon into homes and communities, we’re shaping a future where humans and robots move forward together. Our technology, powered by physical AI and 30+ patents, is life-tested in the most demanding environments: real people, real steps, real work. Meet our devices: Atalante X – A self-balancing exoskeleton enabling hundreds of patients with mobility disabilities to take over 1 million steps per month in 100+ leading hospitals and research centers worldwide. It is designed to promote upright posture, cardiovascular health, neuroplasticity, and—most importantly—upright independence. Eve – The world’s first self-balancing exoskeleton for personal use. Designed for daily life, Eve enables individuals with severe mobility impairments to walk hands-free at home and outdoors. Currently in U.S. clinical trials, Eve is expected to launch in 2026. Calvin-40 – Our first industrial humanoid robot. Autonomous and voice-operated, Calvin-40 is built to take on physically demanding or hazardous tasks in non-ergonomic environments. Based on the same platform as our exoskeletons, Calvin is already hard at work with Renault Group and more.

Calvin-40 is breaking records in 🇮🇹 Italy 🇮🇹 with SAPA - Superior Automotive Parts and Application!      SAPA, one of Europe’s top Tier 1 automotive suppliers, is partnering with Wandercraft to bring Calvin-40, our modular industrial-grade humanoid, into their manufacturing facilities.    This is our second major industrial partnership since announcing our close collaboration with Renault Group just short 5 months ago.     This makes SAPA the first manufacturer first in 🇮🇹 Italy 🇮🇹 to put humanoids on their automation roadmap.    And they chose us because we’re not building for someday. We’re building for now.    While the rest of the industry is making nice videos and targeting generality, we're developing use cases that are valuable across the entire manufacturing industry.     The ultimate goal? Calvin-40 working quietly and autonomously across the full value chain, enabling the next revolution in automation.    Europe isn’t playing catch-up anymore. As of today, we’re taking the lead.     Together, we’re building the real foundation for reshoring advanced manufacturing, supported by intelligent systems that learn on the line, not in simulation.    Proving physical AI isn’t just about thinking, it’s about moving.    Thank you Web Summit for the opportunity to announce on center stage. See you next year!

We’re proud to announce our strategic partnership with SAPA Group, one of Italy’s most innovative automotive suppliers!  We’re working with SAPA to bring Calvin-40, our autonomous heavy-payload humanoid, into their industrial operations. We welcome them to our ecosystem of partners in across Europe just 5 short months since launching Calvin-40 in collaboration with Renault Group.  This announcement marks a major milestone in our vision: scaling humanoids across the entire manufacturing value chain via use case driven development. Our partnership also marks a turning point for European innovation.   By working with OEMs and suppliers to address real production challenges, we’re building a distinctly European path to leadership in physical AI. And not just in one application, but across the entire value chain of manufacturing. We're working with pragmatic, innovative partners to prioritize usefulness over showmanship, delivering impact where it counts. Thank you to the SAPA - Superior Automotive Parts and Application team for your trust. We’re proud to build the future of robotics together. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/e-Er2t_A

Spinal Cord & Brachial Plexus Injury Survivor | Veteran | Biomedical Engineer | Translational Neuroplasticity Researcher & Ambassador | Advocate of Accessible Space Travel | Exoskeleton Pilot

At the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (AAPM&R) Annual Conference in Salt Lake City, I had the extraordinary opportunity to pilot the Wandercraft EVE — a self-balancing, personal-use exoskeleton prototype currently undergoing FDA review and anticipated for release in 2026. In less than five minutes, with help from just one person, I was fully fitted and walked independently for nearly six hours — stopping only to chat, never needing to sit. It felt incredible. ✅ No walker ✅ No crutches ✅ No tether ✅ No therapist support — just a companion by my side Just me — standing tall, balancing freely, and walking naturally through the convention floor. For someone living with dual paralysis (complete SCI and brachial plexus injury) for 12 years, the ability to stand, walk, and move through community spaces is far more than mobility — it’s physiological restoration, social reintegration, and improved quality of life. Imagine the impact of using this kind of technology daily at home or in the community: • Maintaining cardiovascular and metabolic health • Reducing muscle atrophy and spasticity • Supporting bone density and circulation • Preventing secondary complications • Promoting mental and emotional well-being • Empowering FUNCTIONAL independence, accessibility, and inclusion This isn’t about replacing rehabilitation — it’s about enhancing life between sessions. By increasing upright, weight-bearing repetitions in a safe, self-balancing device, it supports overall health, wellness, and participation beyond the clinic. The Wandercraft EVE represents a future where walking isn’t confined to therapy — it’s part of living. #ReversingParalysis #Exoskeleton #Wandercraft #BiomedicalInnovation #SCI #Neurorehabilitation #DisabilityInclusion #RehabRevolution #Accessibility #Independence #AAPMR2025
