U.S. subnational and private sector leaders came together in Belem to engage and partner on climate action. Three different panels held robust conversations discussing ways they are all advancing projects and policies, and how to expand public-private partnerships and make the necessary investments in everything from energy efficiency, battery storage, renewables, and nuclear. The U.S. delegation was strong, diverse, and is very much still committed to the energy transition and the work ahead. Read the takeaways: https://lnkd.in/eXa2Z. Panelists included Helen Walter-Terrinoni (Trane Technologies), Sandy Grace (National Grid), Bob Hinkle (Metrus Energy), Anica Landreneau, LEED Fellow (HOK), Sophie Miremadi (AVEVA), Christina Snider-Ashtari (Office of California Governor Gavin Newsom), Commissioner Sam Cho (Port of Seattle), Commissioner Alice Reynolds (California Public Utilities Commission), Deputy Director Alexa Voytek (Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation), and Rep. Andrea Romero of New Mexico. Moderators were Kate Zyla (Georgetown Climate Center), Amy Holm (The Climate Registry), and Liz Beardsley (U.S. Green Building Council).
