Following the successful delivery of the Calavi International Hospital in Benin in the summer of 2024, and the gradual commissioning of the facility that followed, let's look back at the incredible human journey our teams experienced throughout the project and during its handover to the local medical teams. Recognised as a flagship healthcare facility for the country, the hospital offers 434 beds and a full range of specialised services, including emergency and intensive care, oncology, neurology, dialysis, and nine state-of-the-art operating theatres. The hospital, which is continuing its phased opening, plays a vital role in patient care and medical training. A team of Bouygues Bâtiment International healthcare experts remain on site, as the Beninese authorities have entrusted us to extend the nuclear medicine department, through the installation of a cyclotron. Discover the project that is transforming access to quality healthcare in the region, and hear first-hand testimonials from its first users. ✨ Can luxury and sustainability really thrive side by side? Creating destinations that combine exceptional comfort with genuine care for the environment is one of the biggest challenges facing modern construction. At Bouygues Bâtiment International, our teams are redefining what luxury means — designing projects that celebrate sustainability as much as sophistication. In the Dominican Republic, the Four Seasons Resort & Residences at Tropicalia brings this balance to life. From design to construction, every step has been guided by a commitment to protect the site’s pristine ecosystem — from limiting beach access and reducing light pollution to preserving endemic flora. The result: a destination that redefines what responsible luxury can look like. 👇 Discover how the project team is crafting this vision at Tropicalia in the video below. 🎥 DOT
