Visiting a primary school near our Szczecin, Poland office, Katarzyna Lewkowicz, travel team lead, and senior installation manager Adam Winowski, inspired three classes with their insight into how the wind industry works. During the session, the presentation was brought to life when the children got the opportunity to see and hold safety equipment technicians use in the field. 90 turbines. Two countries. Hundreds of hours of collaboration. We’re celebrating the successful completion of two major projects this week in Finland and Sweden, with 90 wind turbines fully installed and handed over. A huge thank you to our dedicated FairWind teams, partners and clients for their hard work, collaboration and commitment in bringing these projects to completion safely and efficiently. Delivering excellence even in the most challenging environments. At the Las Mareas wind farm in Spain, our team overcame extreme heat, electrical storms, and complex logistics while delivering the installation and handover on schedule. Night-time crane moves and agile planning kept the project on track, showing that even the toughest challenges can be met by our teams. The client site manager said: “The work carried out has been excellent. Deadlines met, high safety standards maintained, and a high-quality service provided. Building Chile’s largest wind farm FairWind played a leading role in Chile’s largest onshore wind project to date, installing 140 Enercon E-160 EP5 E3 turbines with a total capacity of 778 MW. Working across double shifts with four main cranes, our teams overcame complex logistics and remote-site challenges to deliver this milestone project safely and efficiently.
