Back in China – Energizing the Future of Smart Manufacturing! 🔋 On November 18, 2025, our CEO Dr. Nicolas Maier Scheubeck returned to China after a decade – for the MR China Customer Open Day in Suzhou. A bold move under our global capacity expansion strategy. 🌏⚡ What awaited him? A day full of innovation, dialogue, and technical excellence. The MR Suzhou Factory is becoming a key player in the global supply chain – stable, efficient, and customer-centric. A true highlight: the innovative event format with public live streaming! This transformed a traditional factory visit into a “zero-distance” experience – both online and offline. Guests explored manufacturing live, joined interviews, and witnessed the quality of our VACUTAP® VM® series up close. Guided tours through smart workshops showcased how German technology and Chinese manufacturing expertise merge – delivering top-tier quality and powering a sustainable energy future. 🌐🔍 We reaffirm our commitment: staying local, thinking global – and acting bold for a strong energy future. And thats why China is more than a market for us – it’s a strategic cornerstone. 🔁This week, we’ve shared three posts highlighting our development in China – from technology to production to partnership. This post marks the conclusion of that series. And at the same time, it’s the beginning of bold decisions, clear direction, and a strong drive to actively shape the future of energy. 🔌 How long will my transformer last? This is the question many grid operators are asking as their fleets age and face loads they were never designed for. 🛠️ Replacing transformers is expensive—and with long delivery times, it's not a short-term solution. But there is a smarter way: our digital upgrade allows operators to better monitor and control even aging assets, extending their service life. 📍 MITNETZ STROM, the largest distribution network operator in eastern Germany, chose this path and digitally upgraded two transformers at one of their substations. 👉 Curious about the benefits of a digital retrofit and how we support grid operators in this journey? ⚡How simple can transformer digitalization be? With an expanding number of decentralized producers and numerous new consumers, today's power supply is more complex than ever. To manage this, it is becoming increasingly important for energy suppliers to collect data from their transformers: 🔹the gas content in the oil 🔹the winding temperature 🔹continuous monitoring of the bushings Network operators can use all this information to better control and monitor their transformers. 🔧 However, there are many paths to the digital transformer and countless sensors from different manufacturers. Slovenian transformer manufacturer Kolektor Etra (Energetski Transformatorji d.o.o.) wants to make digitization as easy as possible for its customers and has therefore entered into a partnership with us. ➡️You want to know what advantages this partnership brings?
