🖤 Black Friday brings more than discounts—it brings fraud. Every year, the shopping rush gives rise to a darker trend: chargeback fraud. Customers falsely claim they never received an item or didn’t authorize a purchase, keeping both the product and the money. And while these “friendly” disputes may look harmless, they quietly drain merchants’ revenue. But not all hope is lost. With the right strategy, chargebacks can be prevented before they ever happen. From using 3D Secure and Visa CE 3.0 to leveraging AI-driven fraud detection, merchants can now stop deceptive transactions in real time—without hurting genuine customers. This #BlackFriday, make sure your business is ready. 💼 Protect your revenue with Sumsub’s AI-powered Fraud Prevention: https://lnkd.in/dJwXTGG9

Yesterday we officially wrapped up our first What the Fraud Summit in Singapore, and it was absolutely incredible. The concentration of experts in regulation, AI, digital identity, and fraud in one place helped us successfully achieve our goal: to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and define the next steps in the fight against fraud — all in a light, interactive format. Huge thanks to our partners, speakers, workshop participants, and all attendees, because this summit was first and foremost created by our team for you. Very soon we’ll release a recap with the key highlights, but for now we’ve all earned a good rest and a proper weekend! We’re not saying goodbye for long — we’ll definitely see each other again very soon. #WTFSummit #Singapore #Fintech #Fraud #AI

Red slides on our page mean only one thing — fraud. The numbers you’re seeing now are just a tiny fraction of the data from our last Identity Fraud Report, and honestly, we have no idea what color to use for posts with the new, even more shocking numbers from our upcoming report. For now, we suggest refreshing your memory and taking a look at last year’s research so you’re ready for what’s next. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dkK3vcau #SumsubFraudReport #Fraud #AI

While we’re tuning in to the keynotes, panels, and debates at What the Fraud Summit, we’ve also been saving one more big announcement for today👇 Sumsub now facilitates integration with Singpass, Singapore’s national digital identity platform, as part of its Non Doc Verification product—enabling secure, compliant, and document free onboarding for Singaporean citizens and residents. This means local and global companies operating in Singapore can now authenticate users instantly using trusted Singpass and Myinfo data, fully aligned with MAS AML CFT requirements and PDPA standards. 💡 Key benefits: • Instant, document free onboarding via Singpass • Secure authentication with QR scan, biometrics, or passcode • Verification in seconds, improving conversion and reducing processing time “Facilitating integration with Singpass is a major milestone in our commitment to deliver fast, secure, and regulator approved identity verification.”—Andrew Novoselsky, Chief Product Officer at Sumsub Learn more: https://lnkd.in/d92M_5UH

If you think a $1 million salary is a joke, just ask our Senior Talent Acquisition Partner Ekaterina Sokolova to share some stories! The Sumsub team would never be what it is today without the people on the front line — those who literally make the first decision. And we’re glad that these people are doing their job at 100%. 🩵 #TeamSumsub

“Calling a compound a ‘scam house’ is not a soft euphemism—it’s a sign to investigators and compliance teams that they’re looking at organised fraud, not isolated consumer loss.” As Hemanshu Parekh explains, fraud in APAC is no longer about individual scammers or consumer-level tricks. Scam compounds operate like full-scale factories—recruitment hubs, digital operations, financial layering, and physical control—designed to maximise losses and obscure the criminal architecture behind them. Our latest article breaks down why these networks thrive in APAC, the signals investigators should be tracking, and why the language we use determines whether we react too late—or get ahead of the threat curve. If we want to dismantle these networks, we need to think in compounds, not cases. 👉 Read the full article and learn more from Hemanshu’s analysis ahead of his session at WTF Summit 2025: https://lnkd.in/dDt4_jbM
