We were honored to join industry leaders at the #SOAFEE China Workshop 2025 in #Shanghai. As a member of the SOAFEE Open Expert Group, we shared our perspective on the industry's pivotal evolution from Software-Defined to AI-Defined Vehicles. SOAFEE's mission to build a standardized, open architecture for the software-defined vehicle is more critical than ever. By bringing cloud-native and open-source principles to the automotive edge, it enables the scalability and software portability needed for the next generation of intelligent vehicles. This collaborative effort is key to accelerating innovation across the global ecosystem. In response to this convergence of technological evolution and market needs, we have developed #AquaDrive #AIOS, an AI-native vehicle operating system designed for central computing. It represents our contribution to enabling key industry capabilities: 🔹 Deploying multimodal large models (14B/7B) directly in-vehicle for millisecond-level response 🔹 Transforming the user experience from passive response to proactive service across all driving scenarios 🔹 Creating a unified intelligent platform that breaks down traditional domain silos We believe that open collaboration is the cornerstone of progress. As a trusted partner of Dongfeng Motor for nearly five years, ThunderSoft has worked closely with the R&D Institute on multiple #SmartCockpit and #HMI projects, jointly developing customized interaction systems now powering several Dongfeng models.
