Looking to unify and contextualize security and quality findings across the #SDLC ? Dynatrace's integration with #SonarQube can help! 💯
📰 Dynatrace integrates with Sonar (SonarQube) to help #DevSecOps teams unify #security findings across #SDLC and drive efficient remediation efforts with a #runtime-driven prioritization. #QConSF is coming to a close; what was your favorite part of the event? Ours (biasedly) was Anirban Chatterjee's talk about the distinct "coding personalities" of the top LLMs. If you haven't yet, come say hi 👋 to us at our booth and ask us your burning questions about #SonarQube. Let's chat before the event wraps up! QCon Software Development Conferences #SonarTeam #CodeQuality

Compliance feels complex because the responsibilities are often blurred. We cut through the confusion with a simple map: the SDLC responsibility model. 👀 This new developer guide clarifies two domains: “What is built” (your developer domain) versus “the foundation it’s built on” (the business domain). Learn your part in enforcement, from sensitive data handling to resilient code design. Then, automate verification with #SonarQube. 🤝 Check it out: https://bit.ly/3K7EmtP #CodeQuality #CodeSecurity #Compliance

🤖 Smarter AI doesn’t automatically mean safer AI. The risk profile of machine generated code is shifting, and traditional quality checks aren’t designed for what comes next. At #CTOCraftCon: Financial Services, Tom Howlett, Head of Product Management at Sonar, is exploring how teams can understand and govern the new behaviours of AI coding tools. He’s introducing a new way to think about AI “coding personalities,” from the ambitious but risky Senior Architect to the Rapid Prototyper that prioritises speed over structure. What he’s focusing on: • Functional benchmarks don’t reflect the full value or the hidden risks of LLM generated code. • The biggest dangers are moving from obvious issues like injection flaws to subtle concurrency bugs and quiet misconfigurations. • Trusting AI requires verification strategies that evolve with the models, especially as GPT 5 reduces some critical errors while creating new complexity and instant technical debt. “The bottom line here is that developers still remain accountable for code and that’s the challenge we’re facing. We’re requiring more work from developers rather than less.”
