The Opportunity


We’re seeking an Internal Sales Engineer who’s eager to apply technical know-how in a client-focused, commercial role. Supporting one to three Field Sales Engineers, you’ll provide technical selections, manage customer accounts, and play a key role in driving business growth. This position offers exceptional training, mentorship, and a clear pathway to advance into a Field Sales Engineer or senior leadership role.


What You’ll Do


  • Deliver Technical Solutions: Provide expert product and application support to assigned Field Sales Engineers and clients.
  • Drive Customer Value: Develop tailored solutions that help clients optimize performance while ensuring cost-effective, profitable outcomes.
  • Achieve Sales Growth:
  • Apply a consultative approach to manage leads, qualify opportunities, and close business primarily through virtual and phone-based engagement—with occasional joint field visits.
  • Meet or exceed sales and profit targets through disciplined pipeline management.
  • Track and analyze wins and losses using CRM tools to continuously improve results.
  • Stay proactive with pricing adjustments and forecasting to support sustainable growth.


What You Bring


  • Post-secondary education in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (or a related technical field) preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in technical inside sales or application engineering.
  • Exposure to process equipment, rotating equipment, or steam systems is a strong asset.
  • Confident communication and presentation skills with a professional, consultative approach.
  • Strong listening, organizational, and CRM skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel up to 10–20% as needed.
