This week, adidas Canada officially kicked off the road to FIFA World Cup 2026 with the launch of Trionda, the tournament’s official match ball and we were beyond proud to help bring it to life. Together with our incredible partners at adidas, we transformed Steam Whistle & Roundhouse Park into an unforgettable experience: a massive holographic reveal, immersive product moments, athlete appearances, and a crowd full of creators, media, and fans who truly felt the magic. This was more than just a launch, it was a statement. I don’t post often, but this one’s worth it. Last night, alongside our colleagues in the US and Mexico, we officially launched Trionda, the Official Match Ball of FIFA World Cup26. In true adidas style, we went big: transforming Roundhouse Park with a larger-than-life hologram reveal and an unforgettable event where athletes, media, and creators got to touch, feel, and play with the new icon for the first time. In my 12+ years at adidas, I’ve been part of some incredible moments, but with the World Cup coming to Canada, the energy is on another level. Last night captured that perfectly. Huge thanks to our fantastic agency partners for helping bring this to life. Shoutout to our great Sports Marketing team – Jeff McDonell, Edward Swire, Racquel Alongi – for the support behind the scenes.
