Our General Counsel, Will Horne, recently attended The Energy Roundtable’s 10th Annual National Energy Roundtable Conference, where business leaders, innovators, and policymakers came together to discuss energy and national competitiveness. At Rodan Energy, we believe that Canada’s ambition to advance major energy projects relies on creating a modern, flexible, and resilient electricity grid. Maximizing the value of distributed energy resources and giving commercial and industrial customers more choice in how they manage their energy costs will be essential to ensuring reliable, cost-effective capacity across the system. We’re committed to helping organizations optimize their energy use and reduce costs, while playing an active role in enhancing overall grid performance. 👉 Learn more about how we can support your energy strategy: https://bit.ly/3LRcuuy
Great to be here at the The Energy Roundtable today - the ambition to build major projects is palpable. But we can’t build large scale generation and transmission fast enough to support that ambition unless we also create a modernized and flexible electricity grid. Getting more juice out of the distributed resources we already have. Enabling greater choice for commercial and industrial loads to manage their energy costs and provide services back to the grid is not only essential if we want to connect new large loads (like data centres), it’s also the most cost effective capacity out there. Thanks to Christopher Zawadzki and McCarthy Tétrault for inviting me along! #DER #GridModernization #LoadFlexibility
