  • Our General Counsel, Will Horne, recently attended The Energy Roundtable’s 10th Annual National Energy Roundtable Conference, where business leaders, innovators, and policymakers came together to discuss energy and national competitiveness.   At Rodan Energy, we believe that Canada’s ambition to advance major energy projects relies on creating a modern, flexible, and resilient electricity grid. Maximizing the value of distributed energy resources and giving commercial and industrial customers more choice in how they manage their energy costs will be essential to ensuring reliable, cost-effective capacity across the system.   We’re committed to helping organizations optimize their energy use and reduce costs, while playing an active role in enhancing overall grid performance.   👉 Learn more about how we can support your energy strategy: https://bit.ly/3LRcuuy

Great to be here at the The Energy Roundtable today - the ambition to build major projects is palpable. But we can’t build large scale generation and transmission fast enough to support that ambition unless we also create a modernized and flexible electricity grid. Getting more juice out of the distributed resources we already have. Enabling greater choice for commercial and industrial loads to manage their energy costs and provide services back to the grid is not only essential if we want to connect new large loads (like data centres), it’s also the most cost effective capacity out there. Thanks to Christopher Zawadzki and McCarthy Tétrault for inviting me along! #DER #GridModernization #LoadFlexibility

  • Lower Industrial Energy Costs without Sacrificing Productivity Industrial facilities across North America are feeling the squeeze. The good news is that cutting energy expenses doesn’t mean compromising productivity. The next wave of savings is coming from smart, data-driven energy management, not just turning off the lights. In our latest blog, we share 5 proven strategies to reduce energy costs while maintaining performance and reliability: ⚙️ Turn load flexibility into a new revenue stream through demand response programs 📊 Use energy management systems (EMIS) for real-time visibility and control ⚡ Avoid coincident peak demand charges with predictive peak management 🔋 Deploy onsite energy resources for resilience and cost control ♻️ Make energy management part of continuous improvement across operations Facilities that embrace these strategies are transforming energy from a cost center into a strategic advantage. 🔎 Ready to uncover your savings potential? • Turning Flexibility Into a Competitive Advantage Rodan Energy was proud to have our CEO, Paul Grod, speak at the Annual Meeting of the Industrial Energy Consumers of America (IECA) in Washington, DC. Paul shared how large industrials are navigating an energy landscape that’s changing faster than ever. Markets are more dynamic, pricing is increasingly locational, and the companies that actively manage their energy use are gaining a clear competitive edge. He highlighted how combining strong forecasting, real-time market engagement, and flexible resources such as batteries, generators, and microgrids can reduce total energy costs by 20 to 40 percent while also advancing sustainability goals. Flexibility is no longer optional, it’s becoming a core strategic capability. At Rodan Energy, we’re committed to helping industrials capture these opportunities by integrating technology, data, and skilled 24/7 operators into a unified optimization strategy. We look forward to continuing the conversation with IECA members and supporting industrial energy users across North America as they turn flexibility into long-term advantage. 👉 See how Rodan Energy helps industrial energy users leverage comprehensive energy solutions to drive value: https://bit.ly/4ra4B3p
