⚛️ Advancing Quantum Collaboration Yesterday, we brought together founders, mentors, and partners for Creative Destruction Lab's Quantum stream 2025/26 Session 1 - a day focused on supporting innovation at the forefront of quantum technologies. As one of CDL’s shared global streams, the Quantum program unites teams and mentors from CDL-Montreal, CDL-Toronto , and the newly launched CDL-San Sebastian site. This session was made possible thanks to the support and collaboration of CDL-Rockies, who hosted us, and Quantum City, who also sponsored the event. Throughout the day, founders engaged in meaningful discussions with mentors, refining technical roadmaps and identifying milestones that will guide their quantum projects in the months ahead. A big thank-you to all our mentors, Fellows, and Associates for sharing your expertise - your contributions continue to strengthen the CDL community. One thing we look forward to every year is having our Apprentice Program students join us! 🙌🏻 ⚡ Last week, during CDL-Montreal's Session #1 2025/26, we were thrilled to welcome these students as they attended the #ArtificialIntelligence Stream 🌟! As part of their experience, CDL-Montreal offers a workshop for students that changes each year based on current trends. This year, one of our CDL staff members, Carolina Augier, led a workshop where she explained CDL, the startup ecosystem, and the ventures they would be observing that day. The session also included a thought exercise that allowed students to step into the shoes of founders and investors, such as deciding how they would invest a hypothetical $1M fund across startups. Additionally, during these sessions, students have the chance to shadow CDL-Montreal #Mentors, giving them a real-life peek into the dynamic world of entrepreneurship. They also observed objective-setting meetings where mentors openly imparted invaluable guidance to startup teams. It’s inspiring to see them actively engaging with the entrepreneurial journey, and we’re excited to contribute to their growth 🚀! Dans le cadre de leur expérience, le CDL-Montréal propose un atelier qui change chaque année en fonction des tendances actuelles. De plus, lors de ces sessions, les étudiantes et étudiants ont eu la possibilité d’accompagner des mentors du CDL-Montréal, leur offrant un aperçu concret du monde dynamique de l’entrepreneuriat. Elles et ils ont aussi observé des réunions de définition d’objectifs où les mentors ont partagé des conseils précieux avec les équipes de startups. C’est inspirant de les voir s’engager activement dans le parcours entrepreneurial, et nous sommes ravis de contribuer à leur développement 🚀! The sessions were buzzing with energy, from focused Small Group Meetings to dynamic Large Room Discussions. All aimed at helping founders sharpen their priorities, validate their assumptions, and accelerate their path to market.
