Our big-hearted (and determined) Kensington team members rallied together to ascend 1,776 steps above the city. Their goal? To conquer poverty one step at a time. This month, 47 team members from across our organization raised over $15,800 to participate in United Way Greater Toronto's 45th annual ClimbUP challenge—an initiative whose proceeds help those in need within our community.   Thank you to everyone who climbed, donated, or cheered us on from the sidelines. Your efforts helped United Way raise $1.7 million, showing our core values in motion by strengthening communities and making a difference in the lives of others.    We can’t wait to participate again next year!

Today, Kensington Cares, in partnership with Mara West Foundation, celebrates International Day of the Girl Child – a recognition of girls around the globe, the hurdles they face, and the triumphs they’ve made. In support of girls everywhere, we’re honored to spotlight the contributions our travelers make every day towards the next generation of inspired women. By contributing 1% of sales made from each trip booked and allowing travelers to match those donations, Kensington can fund programs that support the betterment of girls’ lives, including schools like Kensington Hall.   An all-girls secondary school in rural Kenya, Kensington Hall has helped countless young women access life-changing education since 2019. This year, traveler contributions have enabled the development of a new science lab, a computer lab, and a school library, ensuring students have the tools they need to succeed in today’s world.
