This past weekend, we celebrated the Canadian debut of Suprema, our new artisanal-style frozen pizza, with a one-of-a-kind opera experience at TD Music Hall.   🍕🎶 “Suprema: The Opera for Aficionadoughs” brought together the elegance of live opera and the bold flavour of pizza in a 14-minute custom performance that wowed our guests and captured the spirit of Suprema.   We were thrilled to welcome Dr. Oetker colleagues, partners, and special guests - including CEO Carl Oetker and Country Coach Claudia Willvonseder - for an evening of artistry, passion, and unforgettable taste.   This wasn’t just a launch, it was a statement. Our 3rd annual Giuseppe Practice with a Pro campaign came to an end at the 2025 CHL Memorial Cup in Rimouski Quebec from May 23rd – May 25th. The winning team, the U11 AA Western Wind Girls from Tignish PEI joined us for a fun filled, action packed weekend of events, fun and of course Pizza! Ending with a once-in-a-lifetime practice with Jarome Iginla featuring Giuseppe himself! Congratulations again to the U11 Western Wind girls’ hockey team! What an amazing and unforgettable weekend. World Food Safety Day 2025 was a great success at Dr. Oetker Canada Ltd. With the global theme “Science in Action,” we celebrated the essential role of science, collaboration, and a proactive culture in ensuring our food safety. Employees shared real-life examples of food safety practices—both at work and at home. From hands-on fun activities to Suprema pizza tasting and a summer BBQ to cross-functional learning about microbes, it was inspiring to see our teams so engaged and energized. This week, the Mississauga Dr. Oetker team had the incredible opportunity to volunteer with Food Banks Canada as part of the After the Bell Program — an initiative that ensures children have access to nutritious food during the summer months when school meal programs are unavailable. Together, we packed hundreds of food kits filled with healthy, kid-friendly items that will be distributed to communities across the country. It was a day full of teamwork, purpose, and heart — and a reminder of the power of coming together to support those in need.
