  • Our President & CEO, John Graham, recently spoke at the Halifax Chamber of Commerce on “Canada’s Pension Advantage.” In a conversation with local business leaders, John reflected on how Canada turned a potential pension crisis into a long-term success — one built on national unity, discipline and fairness between generations. He discussed how the CPP has evolved and how prudent, independent investing has grown the Fund to more than $700 billion, helping to secure pensions for 22 million Canadians. John also spoke about how CPP Investments builds a resilient, diversified portfolio — investing in Canada and around the world to deliver strong, risk-adjusted returns that help sustain the Canada Pension Plan for generations to come. Thank you to the Halifax Chamber of Commerce for hosting this important discussion on the strength of Canada’s pension model.

  • How does a $700+ billion fund stay agile and unified? At CPP Investments, we didn’t just adopt the Total Portfolio Approach (TPA) - we built it from the ground up.   In a new post, Geoffrey Rubin, PhD, our Chief Strategist for One Fund Strategy, shares how we evolved from traditional asset buckets to a dynamic, factor-based view of the world.   With over 2,000 people across the organization, the team managing TPA has grown into the many dozens—focused not on theory, but on making real investment decisions. Whether you're managing a four-person fund or a global portfolio, the principles of TPA can help you invest with clarity and flexibility. https://lnkd.in/gEkxwkxq Video: https://lnkd.in/gtdm5EVW
