We’re proud to share that CDS University is not only off to a great start, but we’ve officially been approved by the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) as a PACE-accredited provider of continuing education. This means participants attending our CDS University courses will now receive universal CE credits, recognized across North America. The PACE (Program Approval for Continuing Education) certification recognizes providers that deliver high-quality, scientifically sound education for dental professionals. PACE-approved organizations must meet AGD’s nationally recognized standards, ensuring that every session contributes to clinical excellence and professional growth. This accreditation is a significant step forward in our commitment to: - Lifelong learning - Professional development - Clinical and operational excellence Launched in January 2025, CDS University is a bespoke, internally focused continuing education (CE) program offering a curriculum designed to support growth, empower our teams, and enhance patient care. This initiative aligns directly with our Three Guiding Principles and reinforces our core value of Continuous Improvement. Last week, our team came together in Edmonton, Alberta, for another PM Summit 2025, a dedicated two-day event bringing together Practice Managers from CDS clinics across Ontario, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. The purpose of the PM Summit was clear: to further support our Practice Managers’ growth as managers and leaders. The summit reinforced our commitment to delivering operational excellence and outstanding patient care through meaningful conversations, hands-on learning, and skill-building sessions. Throughout the event, Practice Managers were exposed to practical tools to enhance communication, streamline operations, and foster innovation within their clinics. We also introduced our newly developed GP Clinic Standard Operating Procedures, centred on Patient Care Principles, and this marked an important milestone in our continued mission to standardize the patient experience across all CDS clinics. At CDS, our mission is to help our clinics reach their clinical, cultural, and hospitality potential, and we do this largely by continuing to invest in our people. The PM Summit reflected our corporate philosophy in action: putting people and culture at the center of our success.
