Game Changers

The Chicago White Sox continue the ninth season of the team’s event series, Game Changers, presented by Modelo Especial®. Celebrating and empowering underrepresented communities through photographers’ diverse visual perspectives, this year’s programming also will offer a Game Changers Summit scheduled for Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

Game Changers Summit: Sidelined with Brooke Fletcher & Dani Klupenger, LIVE at Rate Field

Join a special Game Changers edition, presented by Modelo, of the award-winning podcast, Sidelined with Brooke Fletcher and Dani Klupenger, recorded live from Rate Field. This interactive conversation will bring together barrier breakers from across the sports and media industries for an honest discussion about navigating the sports world, empowering underrepresented voices, and shaping the evolving landscape of sports storytelling.

Brooke and Dani will lead an engaging, unfiltered dialogue with their guests—diving into what representation means in the sports industry, the importance of diverse perspectives in sports coverage, and the collective responsibility to open doors for the next generation. Attendees will be invited to join the conversation and take part in a live Q&A toward the end of the recording.

Past Events

Since 2016, the Game Changers series has featured leading community voices in panel discussions focused on creating meaningful change and empowering diverse community groups. Recent Summit programming includes “Empowering Voices for Social Impact” in 2023 and “Boosting Performance Through Diverse Teams” in 2024.

The White Sox Game Changers series also has showcased compelling stories about sports and culture through the work of local artists who identify within the African American, Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) and Latino communities. Following mural pieces created by artists Asend™️, Edo and Murrz, the organization commissioned artwork for home plate and base designs by Jeff Pak, Nikko Washington and MATR.
