Job Description

- Permanent full-time opportunity based at Sydney International Terminal
As a Crew Experience Manager in our Qantas International business, you will focus on leading and manage the end-to-end employment relationship for a team of approximately 150 - 180 Flight Attendants and Business & First-Class Flight Attendants. Your role will be integral in ensuring a continual focus on safety, service and productivity, whilst cultivating a high-performance culture amongst a large, diverse and industrialised workforce. Through effective people management and collaborating with partner areas to act on trends affecting Cabin Crew service delivery and productivity, you will contribute greatly to business plan objectives. As a member of our leadership team, you will also be required to support our 24/7 operation by participating in an on-call roster to support our crew.
You’ll Have:
- Ability to work early mornings and late evening and participate in our roster
- Knowledge of the industrial context and influencing outcomes with unions
- Proven ability in developing individuals and building effective, high performing teams
- Proven communication, facilitation, presentation and diplomacy skills
- Experience in working within industrialised workplace environments with case management and investigation experience
- Developed business acumen and personal commitment to service excellence
- Ability to manage ‘business as usual’ activity while also leading various business projects
- Sound judgement and fit for purpose solutions to meet an ever-changing customer and employee landscape
- Proven ability to motivate, lead and influence others
