Marking Our Third Sod Turning of the Year with Punthill Albury! Yesterday, we were thrilled to mark another major milestone with the official Sod Turning of Punthill Albury, right in the heart of Albury’s CBD on Dean Street. Joining us on site were our CEO Zed Sanjana and COO Kyle Kaya, alongside key project partners: Graeme Edgar (President) and Jeff Duck (General Manager) from Commercial Club Albury (Developer), Anthony Baker, General Manager at Premier Building & Construction (Builder),Warren McVean from Studio 35 Architecture, as well as Albury Mayor, Kevin MACK and Justin Clancy, Member for Albury, to celebrate the official start of construction on this exciting new project. Strategically located in the heart of Albury’s CBD on Dean Street, Punthill Albury will be an 83-key apartment hotel designed to meet the accommodation needs of the broader Albury-Wodonga region. The hotel is designed to meet the rising demand for high-quality accommodation in Albury, which continues to benefit from sustained civic investment, infrastructure upgrades, and its position as a critical hub on the Melbourne–Sydney corridor. Scheduled to open in 2026, Punthill Albury is set to become a premier choice for both corporate and leisure travellers in the region. We’re proud to share that construction is underway on our first Regional Victorian hotel, Punthill Shepparton. This is an exciting step forward for our growing portfolio. Yesterday, we were thrilled to be joined by CEO Zed Sanjana, COO Kyle Kaya, our key stakeholders, Developer Terry Sofra from Sofra Group, Director Jim Tzouvelis from Valeo Construction Group, Anthony Brophy, Deputy Mayor of Shepparton, and Kim O’Keeffe, Member for Shepparton. Together, we marked the official commencement of construction for our newest regional apartment hotel. Strategically located on Wyndham Street in the heart of the Greater Shepparton region, Punthill Shepparton will be a 107-key apartment hotel directly opposite the Shepparton Art Museum (SAM). Ideally positioned to support the region’s growing economy and evolving hospitality needs, the hotel will cater to both business and leisure travellers with a thoughtfully designed mix of fully self-contained studio, one and two bedroom apartments. Each apartment will feature fully equipped kitchens and in-room laundry facilities, providing guests with the comforts of home alongside the flexibility and convenience of a hotel. Our exciting new Punthill property in Epping officially kicked off with a sod-turning ceremony this week! We were thrilled to be joined by our Director of Operations Kyle Kaya, Development Director David Lee from RIVERLEE, Manager Building & Planning Ricardo Ramos from the City of Whittlesea, and the Balmain & Co Team. This ceremony celebrated a significant milestone, marking the official commencement of construction for our new 100-key serviced apartment hotel. Punthill Epping is strategically located along Cooper Street, right in the heart of the rapidly developing New Epping precinct. This area is transforming into a key medical and commercial hub in the north west, and our new hotel will be perfectly positioned near the newly built Northern Private Hospital, adjacent to the Northern Hospital Epping, Pacific Epping Shopping Centre, and the relocated Melbourne Markets.
