We recently celebrated two years of success at our New Zealand office, with a great turnout at our annual client event. A huge thank you to our clients and colleagues - your support makes it all happen!
Last week Redpath Partners held our annual client event, an opportunity to say thank you and celebrate two incredible years of business here in New Zealand. Our purpose has always been simple, to bring great people together. This event was a reflection of that, a room full of clients, colleagues, and friends who’ve each played a part in our journey so far. The growth and success our clients have achieved over the past two years have directly enabled our own, and we’re genuinely grateful for the trust and partnerships that make what we do possible. Thank you to everyone who joined us.

NZ New Home Market: Who's Really Building? The numbers don’t lie — Canterbury is leading the country in new home construction. While other regions are slowing, Canterbury is pushing ahead with strong buyer demand, faster project approvals, and more homes under construction than Auckland or Wellington. 𝗔𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱: Activity is steady but cautious. High land prices + buyer hesitation are slowing the pace. 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻: A softer market with fewer consents and tighter margins for developers. 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗯𝘂𝗿𝘆: The standout performer. More new homes are being built here than anywhere else in NZ — including Auckland. Demand remains strong, especially from first-home buyers and upgraders. 𝗪𝗮𝗶𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗼 & 𝗕𝗢𝗣: Moderate growth with pockets of activity, but labour and cost pressures still bite. 𝗢𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗼/𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱: Steady, with Queenstown showing luxury build interest, but volumes are lower. If you're a New Home Consultant looking for a fresh start, this is your sign. Canterbury has momentum, opportunity — and builders who are hiring. Relocating might just be the best move you make this year.
