For Australia’s energy utilities, one thing is clear: partnerships are essential.   Our latest Value in Motion perspective explores how energy utilities can partner with customers to promote growth across new domains – from how we move to how we build.   In this article, Guy Chandler, Tony Histon and I examine how energy utilities can reinvent themselves to capture this value.   Read more: https://pwc.to/4r8Q0W0

  • Recognising leadership that makes a difference. 🏅 We're proud to announce Justin Carroll as this year's recipient of the Edwin Flack Award - our firm's recognition award for partners who lead with outstanding passion, purpose, and integrity. Named after accountant and Olympian Edwin Flack, the only Australian to compete in the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. Edwin's accounting firm would eventually merge with what became PwC. Based in Perth and a partner in Assurance, Justin was recognised by his peers as a true leader with a strong moral compass who consistently upholds our values. From his dedication in establishing our new Governance Board to his unwavering client focus on major pursuits, Justin exemplifies what it means to work at PwC and a trusted advisor to our clients. Congratulations, Justin, on this well-deserved recognition.

  • Smiles in full bloom! 🌸    We recently donated the table flowers from a leadership event to several aged care homes across Queensland with the help of Florapeutic. This simple gesture brought moments of joy and connection to residents and gave our blooms a meaningful second life.    Small acts can make a big difference - and we’re proud to support our communities in meaningful ways.    #PwCProud

  • This week we have welcomed Nick Davison to the firm as a Partner in our Financial Crime practice – a core capability within our national Risk & Regulatory business.  An expert in financial crime strategy, transformation and regulatory compliance, Nick brings deep global experience to the firm.  Nick says: “Criminals are becoming increasingly sophisticated - harnessing AI, cryptocurrencies and complex scams, to exploit vulnerabilities in financial systems. Australian regulators are responding to the challenge with significant regulatory reform and increasing scrutiny of the effectiveness of regulated entities’ financial crime programs. I'm looking forward to working with PwC’s global team of FinCrime experts to help businesses tackle this problem and reduce the impact of organised crime on society.” Welcome aboard Nick!

  • We recently hosted Ben Crowe, renowned professional mentor and leadership coach, as part of a development session for senior leaders.   Ben invited us to take a new perspective on leadership: it's less about having the answers, and everything to do with creating environments where others can thrive.     From understanding the power of agency to redefining success beyond external validation, the session offered practical tools our leaders can use immediately.   But the real highlight? Watching our people lean in and ask courageous questions.   As we continue investing in our people's growth, it's energising to see the mindset shifts that help us become better leaders, colleagues, and people.   #GrowHereGoFurther #PwCProud
